How I spent my Saturday night. Sorting and organizing comics...

AJ Kincaid @gamemasteraj.bsky.social · 15/02/2025

I have been sleeping on the new "Namor" I kept walking past it in the shop. I had no clue who the team was. Oh was I fool. This. Book. Is. Amazing. #marvel #comics #Namor

I chose a great time to convert to team Cyclops. #xmen #marvel #comics

And the newest stack from the LCS is in! This X-Men Girlie continues on with the "From the Ashes" line. I see a lot of criticism of this era that while I do understand, I don't agree with it. I love it, and as it continues, I love it even more. #marvel #dc #xmen

Following up. "Space Usagi" is indeed fantastic and so much fun. Definitely worth a pick up.

Never go to the comic shop with Jacob Brown. You will leave with more comics than you originally planned. (I am glad I picked up "Space Usagi." I would have walked right past it if he didn't point it out.) #comic #marvelcomics #darkhorsecomics #dccomics

Finally, I made it into the comic shop! I am so excited for each of these books and can't wait for reading time this weekend. The X line is fantastic, and I am so excited to get into Magik. #comics #marvel #dc

I have to admit I had a lot of fun with the first issue of Cable: Love & Chrome.

Happy Holidays, everyone! I'm so happy that this came together and so proud of the story that the book club boys help create. The end product is amazing, and I can't wait for people to listen. Thank you for having me @geeksplained.bsky.social it's always a pleasure.

I'm so excited to finally break into this. The Hive Mind has become some of my favorite writers working today. @jacksonlanzing.bsky.social and @collinkelly.bsky.social do not disappoint, and with what the boys at @geeksplained.bsky.social tell me, it's not possible.

Not at all what I expected this issue to be. Once the message became clear, I warmed up to it and ended up really liking it. Clear intentions on building up to the next big thing in the Marvel universe. I can see why people might be disappointed, but overall, it's a nice time.

This week's pull from the local comic shop has arrived in force, or should I say "X-Force" I continue to break my shopping rules. I swore "Only X-Men." And here I am with an Avengers issue. At least Storm is on the cover. #comics #comicbooks #DC #Marvel

Last night, I started reading Vision in Tim Russ's voice, and I can't go back. It works too well.

This audio book version of "Metro 2033" is phenomenal. The accent and voice work are some of the best I've heard in a while. I highly recommend a listen, and I am so glad I picked this for my audio reading.

"NYX" is something really special. Everyone on the book is firing on all cylinders. It continues to be one of my highlight reads of the month. Sincere, grounded while still being fantastical, and so intimate despite its colossal setting. #NYX #comics #marvel #x-men

The first issue of "Psylocke" is an absolutely stellar read. Such fantastic work by Alyssa Wong, Vincenzo Carrots, and the entire team. This was so good and left me so hungry for more. #marvel #x-men #psylocke #comics

From the ashes, we rise to a Bluesky. With this being my first post, it only feels right to mark it with a picture of this week's comic pull list. Still riding the X-train and still enjoying "From the Ashes" line of books. #comics #marvel #xmen
