I cannot put into words how much I love this credits scene and how it makes me feel for Jin and his journey and its made even better with Xenoblade 3 "I dont wish for forever" being twisted and corruped to be one of the main plot points or Xenoblade 3 is so perfect

Its really wild I did not like Mythra at all when I first played Xenoblade 2 and especially not with the dlc Until I got to this scene Like damn. Hating yourself so much over a mistake that you become a different person, someone whos meant to be your opposite in every way

The final battle is very satisfying and grandiose for what I would expect. This dlc is ROUGH to replay every time I do but this whole ending sequence is so satisfying. I really wish sidequests werent so boring and repetitive or id recommend this Dlc more

The game starts with Jin as a cool and collected dude but throughout the course of the game he gets progressively more worried and defensive when faced with a threat like Malos. Because of this and the bad timing of finding that Diary hes way more contemplative about the idea

Watching this scene again Im starting to think my thought process for Amalthus and Malos was close. But I love the idea that Amalthus had evil dark desires in his heart upon summoning him, so He views Malos as a messenger of his desire to destoy this world

Every time I replay Xc 2 I always forget Azurda shows up and that he knows Jin. I do find it a bit silly Azurda also knew Jin's previous owner Even if it doesnt matter ultimately Also is the history of blades turning into Titans a secret only Tornians???

gamemaniac.bsky.social @gamemaniac.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

Ok lets get this outta the way first Torna is really fun but 60% of it is Padding. Torna was intended to be a chapter in og Xenoblade 2 and you can tell they basically had it ready And unfortunately them deciding to make it a whole expansion makes the gameplay portion so bloated

100

gamemaniac.bsky.social @gamemaniac.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

Idk how far in advance They planned out the story of the trilogy but I personally feel Mythra had a older sis/motherly vibe growing in Torna that was ripped away from her and doesnt develop it again until presumably she has Shimmer who she unfortunately also lost in a way

gamemaniac.bsky.social @gamemaniac.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

Even Amalthus whos the true actual villain of the game is affected negatively by how the world is. But he chose to do the opposite of what Rex did. He didnt go to Elysium to save the world, he went to it to find a way out and in doing so found an excuse to rule

But dont you wanna see what weird way they canonize the collabs Until the licenses run out and they have to replace the cards with non specific versions after 5 years or whatever happened with Spider-Man

gamemaniac.bsky.social @gamemaniac.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Addam's character is super interesting the more you expect out of him from the core game Hes meant to be this grandiose hero But in reality hes just a man, he respects Mythra but he cant fully understand her And because of his fear he couldnt fully awaken her power

gamemaniac.bsky.social @gamemaniac.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

These scenes I think show how ruthless and dedicated Jin can be protecting Lora without outright making it look like he isnt in control. Just establishes how it makes sense things ended up the way they did Also you can clearly tell they didn't even remove this dude's arms

gamemaniac.bsky.social @gamemaniac.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Torna time Im skipping ahead a bit cause the game starts pretty simply with not much to say just yet besides Mythra being a lil Binch. It does a good job setting up how bad and cruel Alrest is and how much worse it can get outside what Rex saw

Bleach Thousand Year blood war (DROPPED): I dont care Its the worst shounen ive seen I think the story drags I dont like the gags The characters feel useless Everyone has 1 attack they use I like a lot of the designs and style for some characters but Bleach aint for me

Besides that weird detail this is a very beautiful scene and shows exactly why I love Rex's character Out of anyone on Alrest, its Rex who accepts and understands the Pythra more than anyone else

Resident Evil: Night Zero (10/10): this is exactly what I wanted out of a RE movie. Every scenraio after the next is more interesting and creepy. I know people arent a fan of the ending but I think it works really well in an RE backstory way

The Legend of Aang The last Airbender (8/10): Wow look at that the movie isnt as bad as people say nor as perfect as people say. Its perfectly fine. It has so mamy issues primarily the lack of character screentime but overall its a fine movie man Looks pretty too

I believe it might be switch 2 glitch only for some cutscenes Specifically ones where they use the stiff animations

Its funny I was gonna post about how this scene is abit of a rollercoaster of emotions cause it plays the peppy music as ya walk over to the core crystal But now I had Tora screaming in my ear during an important moment
