Everybody Votes – FAQ (WII) by DDJ gamefaqs.gamespot.com/wii/961733-e... After yesterday's Harvest Moon post, I wanted to find another DDJ and so today's gem is a MASSIVE archive of Everybody Votes polls on the Nintendo Wii. I'm sure US sushi opinion has changed in 17yrs.
Everybody Votes – FAQ (WII) by DDJ. The ASCII title is in block print with a poll above that asks: "Do you vote? YES! [100.0%] No. [0.0%]" A result from the Everybody Votes app that asks: "What do you think of sushi?" 45.3% responded "Delicious" and 54.7% responded "Uncooked Fish" It's tagged as "Very Close Race" "Gender Agreement" "Unpredictable" "No Gender Difference" and the app's Prediction Accuracy was only right 52.9% of the time. West coast states, Hawaii, and DC all love sushi, and all other states skewed towards "Uncooked Fish" but they didn't know back then... They had just got out of the Bush Jr. 2, we didn't know nothing.

It's so rare when the ASCII art title is like the THIRD most beautiful and ornate part of a FAQ... I'm in awe

Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility – Guide and Walkthrough (WII) by DDJ gamefaqs.gamespot.com/wii/933022-h... One of the most beautiful guides, with formatting for its own marginalia and guidance. You won't miss a single Bachelor [BAC] or Bachelorette [BCE] thanks to DDJ!
A list of every mechanic around animals in Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility from Feeding, Breeding, By-products, and Profit Analysis. It has marginalia pointing to highlighted sections with fun facts like: "Did you know the goat is the most profitable animal over its lifetime if you have the Cheese Maker? That and more can be found here."At the intersections of each major section the margins guide inwards and then outwards to highlight sections and subsections with differentiating margin decorations. This next section is titled "The Particulars" and funnels into a subsection titled "Release Data" [RDA] which then points to the first section titled "Game Release Data" [GDA].ASCII art for Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility. Mega Man 2 – Arm Cannon Dueling FAQ (NES) by The_Shadow. gamefaqs.gamespot.com/iphone/95909... With respect for a duel that gets your blood pumping, Eric draws a firm line in the sand for mastery of the robot masters.
Excerpt from the start of Mega Man 2 – Arm Cannon Dueling FAQ (NES) by The_Shadow. "The goal of this FAQ is to learn how to beat all the bosses from megaman without any weapons except the good old arm cannon. It is a challenge I have successfully done and I am glad to share this challenge
with your in case you did not think about it. For my point of view, if you did not battle all the bosses with your arm cannon, you cannot call your self a megaman expert."

30 years ago, Nintendo produced a console in NA where "Cleaning is the one thing you will NEVER have to do to the system. NEVER!!!" so Snake64 put together The *UNOFFICIAL* Nintendo 64 System Use and Care guide with tips that kinda represents 2000 system care - gamefaqs.gamespot.com/n64/916387-n...
Snake64's advice on how to clean an N64: "Cleaning is one thing that you will NEVER have to do to the system.
NEVER!!! The N64 has a nifty little self-cleaning mechanism in it, so
don't bother buying an unlicensed N64 game/system cleaning kit, because:
A. Your system doesn't need it
B. If it hurts your system or games, tough cookies, you've just voided your warranty.
So don't get one. If you're really in a fit about keeping your GAMES
clean though, go dig up an SNES game/system cleaner (one that has a
little cleaning wand that is somewhat like a Q-Tip, not something you
stick the game into) and use it on the GAME. DO NOT use the system
cleaner for your system. The game cleaner (assuming it is an Officially
Licensed one) will not void the system warranty.

Also, you should never do the following things to your games to get them clean:
1. Blow on the contacts
2. Use a Q-tip, Kleenex, etc. etc. with any liquid or solvents
3. Dump them in a washing machine."

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind – Cheap Play Guide (PC) by Mochan gamefaqs.gamespot.com/pc/913818-th... This FAQ opens with an important and diverse definition before explaining the best text-width for viewing and which version of Morrowind this focuses on.
Mochan's "How to Be a Cheap Ass" Morrowind FAQ starts with a definition:

[cheap] adj(1509) 1: at minimum expense
2: gained with little effort
3: obtainable at a low rate of interest
4: STINGY

[ass] (bef. 12c) 1: any of several hardy gregarious mammals (genus Equus)
that are smaller than the horse and have long ears
2: a stupid, obstinate, or perverse person"
[DISCLAIMER]
This FAQ was written with the PC version of the game in mind. Any discrepancies with the XBox should be excused. Best read with a 79-width text viewer with a fixed-size font. This FAQ will likely not be updated because I am lazy. But you never know.

Pokemon Pokopia —Guide and Walkthrough (NS2) by CityBuilderAK47 gamefaqs.gamespot.com/switch-2/559... This is a full guide for a pretty new game, and I'm impressed with how cleanly it is organized. It takes great care to describe ways to approach how strange Pokopia can be just starting out
The first sections of CityBuilderAK47's Table of Contents for a walkthrough on Pokemon Pokia:
"Game & Guide Introduction
Nintendo Direct Update Announcement - June 2026
Bubbly Basin - Release: Aug 5, 2026
Important Game Concepts
Playstyles and Progression: How to Approach Pokopia
Starting Out: Some Important Beginning Tips & Tricks
On Habitats and Attracting Pokémon
"Why Isn't The Pokémon Appearing?"
Environment Level & Comfort Level
Essential Buildings: Trading, Storage, and Infrastructure
You Got Questions, I Have (Some) Answers
Pokémon Mini-Games"A disclaimer near the start of the Pokemon Pokopia walkthrough explaining what ways Pokopia is unlike other Pokemon games. "If you're coming looking for some battling or fun, you instead need to look at the other recent Switch release, Pokémon Champions!

That said, this is a very open-ended game. There’s no single “correct” way to play. Pokopia leans heavily into cozy game design tropes: building, farming, exploration, and experimenting with your world at your own pace. First, let's get a pretty common question out of the way:

How Long Will it Take to "Beat" The Game?
Most players will reach the end of the main story and unlock all Ditto transformations in about 30–40 hours, or closer to 20–30 hours if focusing strictly on progression and follow some of the "shortcut" tips through the guide. Completionists, however, can easily spend 100+ hours unlocking every Pokémon, habitat, and item." And then a closing section on how to use the guide as an 'Efficiency Focused' player.

I love the ASCII art above, but I also love the description of how one would go about planning and organizing a speed run of a JRPG on the internet in 2006. There is very important history that often goes undocumented in between these lines.
Excerpt from Breath of Fire III – Speed Run FAQ/Walkthrough (PS) where Paltheos descibes his method for planning a speedrun of BoF3:
"David's pretty much covered everything, but I still wanna say my own little thing. ;P

Prior to Speed Run 3, my involvement in the Speed Runs (SR) was little more than interest (a.k.a. practically nothing). However, as of SR#3, I became interested in the intensive time-cutting attempts and offered some advice here and there to help David out (plus the whole video and critique and FAQ writing thing David mentioned >_>).

Even though I haven't been involved in BoFIII Speed Running for too long, one lesson clearly stands out above all the others: It's hard to gauge exactly how much time can be shaved off the last figure. We've made rough estimates before
(namely David's claim after Speed Run 2 that 11 hours was the absolute minimum and my assertion that 9 hours 20 minutes was unpassable after Speed Run 3, where I'd calculated that 9:29 was the minimum with the current strategies), but it seems as if there's always more and more exploits that can cut off a precious few seconds here and there, so now we're cautious about issuing minimum times. Hopefully, I'll be wrong about the "absolute minimum", and Speed Run 4 will yield more saved time than ever thought possible.

Finally, for a quick summary of all the Speed Run times thus far:
Sharp Paper SR (w/ Cheats) - 8-9ish hours
Sharp Paper SR (Legit) - 14:24
DavidK5 SR#1 (Late 2004) - 13:50
DavidK5 SR#2 (Mid 2005) - 11:31
DavidK5 SR#3 (Late 2005) - 10:03"

This leads to an edge-case where there are no LttP guides for GBA (because they are set for LttP+Four Swords) and no Four Swords guides for the SNES (because that isn't a thing) So this join only works for games whose ports/remakes are extremely similar, which wasn't the original user problem.
The Super Nintendo guide for Zelda: A Link To The Past having no GBA guides available (even though it is an option that can be selected)The Super Nintendo filter allows for you to choose LttP+Four Swords even though that isn't a game that exists. If you choose to filter out for just Four Swords guides on A Link To The Past, no guides will appear because that game doesn't exist. This invalidates the entire purpose of this system unless the game's ports are already mostly identical which wasn't what this system was designed for in the first place.

Continuing on from the lore of the previous screenshot: Kirby's Dream Land 3 – Guide and Walkthrough (SNES) by NTsui "Emily Lee-
Due to a small mix-up, I didn't put her name in the Special Thanx
section of Version 5.0. :( Sorry, Emily! :) Anyways, she likes
Nintendo, the 'net, and something I won't say, since she asked me not
to. She is also a big annoyance to me, sometimes bugging me worse than
my sister (Betho- see below)! I might also ask her some questions for
the N64 FAQs "SnaKKer" (Nathan Miller) and I may do together. Another
thing is that she is the Emily from the James/Emily/Me (Nathan Tsui)
incident above, in the James Tunnell section. :| She is also my
sister's friend, and when they get together, it's enough to make me go
into hiding! ;) (read Betho's section below for more on that)"

Kirby's Dream Land 3 – Guide and Walkthrough (SNES) by NTsui. This Special Thanks section says, "Nathan "SnaKKer" Miller-
My friend, Nathan Miller, for being the total Nintendo fan, although
he now likes Sonic the Hedgehog (my FAV videogame hero!), too. More
thanx for the ideas he gave me, and for being my web buddy. Also, he
and I currently working on some N64 FAQs together... Sounds cool, no?

John Westenhover-
Thanx to John for coming over to my house, allowing me to play this
game more! Also for all the times we had playing computer together!
;) Even more thanx for the fun we had taping crazy films together when
he came over!

Elizabeth Westenhover-
Thanx for being my friend, and for the fun times we had playing Hugo's

House of Horrors and King's Quest at her and John's house!

Crazy Gloveman-
Thanx, Crazy, for just being crazy and totally insane due to your
constant overdose of sugar! :| Also for half of the great entertainment
on Sunday nights! ;)

Shotgun-
He is the other half of the entertainment on Sundays! Also for being a
great friend, and for all the jokes and fun times we have every week!
