The kids in class, for some reason, didn't believe that I made Isekat. So they googled. It didn't mention my name. They said I was capping. I told them to search who's the founder of the company that made it. AI responded with my name. Their jaws collectively fell to the ground. Soooooo funny 😂😂😂

We made so many performance upgrades like cutting down the size of the game more than half, improving loading times, FPS on weaker PCs… The reason I can’t upload it yet is because I did all those on the build with the new typing system and there’s still bugs. Sorry everyone 🥺

JAPANESE VERSION GAMEPLAY The amount of grinding it took for us to get this far... 🥵 Still need to adjust the font sizes but it's kind of amusing like this. You could use this to practice hiragana and katakana recognition because the romaji is so small 😂

Seeing a lot of game dev courses pop up but no game jobs. I think it’s quite sinister for there to be a situation where everyone is pivoting to education but there’s nothing at the end of that path. There should be an equivalent amount of funding for startup studios too.

A student in class today was really attached to the idea of using AI while learning coding, and I had to sit him aside and tell him that AI isn’t the omnipotent magical solution he thinks it is. I think I got through to him, but it’s really hard because they don’t know how much they don’t know yet.

To me, endings are really important to have in video games. It’s very important that once you finish a game, you sigh with satisfaction and go “that was a great game”. Post game clarity is important.

After the stuff that's happening over at X, I think I'm gonna focus a bit more on BlueSky. I feel that BlueSky is at a bit of a disadvantage compared to X for reaching audiences and non-creators, but maybe it's something that needs to be built in time. If artists are happy here, people will come.
