Today has been weirdly emotional. I discovered that someone had charted the entire Dear Evan Hansen soundtrack in Rock Band, bawled my eyes out to it, and played a furry VN that was a cathartic way to process one of the worst con experiences of my life. I think I needed all that.

Nintendo has never really done a remake that isn’t a “[GAME] HD” port. Best examples I can think of are Metroid Zero Mission or Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland, and they’re relatively small scale 2D platformers. I think there’s plenty of potential for a proper remake, but it’s uncharted territory

Plenty of rumours about an OoT remake. If it’s a 3D-style remake, it’s a nothingburger to me. And it seems redundant with the N64 version already playable. If it’s a modern Zelda game based on OoT, then it could be really cool! Or a complete disaster. There is no precedent for it.

Trying to get into the Pokemon TCG in 2026 is absolutely exhausting. It's amazing how much the game has changed, specifically the way cards are sold. Back in the day you'd buy a starter deck and some booster packs from the latest set. Nowadays it seems way more complicated than that!

Oh no, I used a Large Language Model to solve problems related to language semantics. Shame on me! Keep in mind, AI answers might not be correct, and I specifically mentioned that in the script - I just figured that it's important to be transparent about where I got the answers from.
Should you see any problems with it, there are options to make corrections. I'd love to see an article or a blog post done by a human who knows the language, which would go through all of the messages and review the accuracy of their translation! 😊

Predictably, physical copies have skyrocketed in price. Even though the digital version has only cost $9.99 USD since 2024. Feels kind of like what happened with Concord. As soon as a game gets delisted, people want a physical copy regardless of whether the disc is even usable.
