It’s so fun to teach Physical Computing at @bostoncollege. Last night was capacitive touch where students made living plants talk like Baby Groot when tapped, and accelerometers where they made magic wands and Goblets of Glory that play sound when tilted for a toast. All in #CircuitPython.

I’m thinking of switching from the Raspberry Pi Pico 2W to the ESP32-S3 N16R8 for my #CircuitPython #maker class. Any reason not to? Audio requires a DAC & more wiring but otherwise seems like a good choice. Any info on forthcoming Raspberry Pi microcontroller boards?

AI models are still wildly irregular even with large paid plans. When they are good they are astonishing but they need to be constantly questioned because I see so much confident bogusness where, if an employee was that irregular, you’d send them to HR for substance abuse on the job.

I have no idea what goof profiling is afoot at Apple News but I’m regularly seeing headlines like “[celebrity] eats this [2 or 3] ingredient sandwich every day”. The world is on fire & I need to be informed, yet Apple thinks my pressing need is to know Bono digs potato chips between bread slices.

Updating the Sonic Pillars so they are in a single case with a single plug and can be more easily transported. I need to do a better job on sizing the internal shelf so the lid closes and I need to give another shot at trying to paint inside the laser etchings but it’s getting there.
