My cat Ripley said "word" last night. Word. To her Mother. #Cats #CatofBluesky #BluesskyCats

Close up of a tabby calico cat. Her head in in the upper right corner, head tilted and a kind of crazy expression. She's holding a tassel in her white paws.

Omg, Churu. I'm watching these two and their person suggested I give them a Churu. I don't give them to my cat so I had no idea. I also had no idea what the little spoon was for. The grey girl is insane for them and has very sharp claws. 😆#Cats #BlueskyCats #Catsofbluesky

Grey cat with green eyes in foreground judging me for not giving Churu yet. She's on a brown wooden floor and her sibling is a black and orange blur in the background sliding around the edge of a grey ottoman on her side

For those of you using QUICKBOOK ONLINE. QB is not liable in any way for audits due to their faulty AI. It started changing the names on incoming band transactions without authorization. It changed a large auto repair from Motors to MOTEL and left it in automotive repair category. Audit trigger!

We're looking to remodel house. Told the architect I wanted a place dedicated for the cat box. He looked at me like I asked for something obscene. "Can't you just put it in the bathroom?" Yay! Just what I want, a nice 'new' place...with a catbox next to the toilet. Should have dumped him then. #Cats

Why are so many companies trying to trick you into using their services? Just got an official looking form. Looking closely, it's to pay a service to file a "statement of information" (for $243) I have already filed on my own using the simple state web interface.

Ugh, my tablet figured out my age. Now I get nothing but "seniors swear by" garbage ads or workouts for people in chairs. I freaking hate it. It was only on my laptop before.

Merri Oakley @galaxiegalca.bsky.social · 20/10/2025

I work out 6 days a week and am tired of getting ads about beginning workouts in chairs. Turned off weight loss ads in ad choices. Now that's ALL I get. A firehose. Asked google, and oh yeah, if you turn off a type of ad, you'll get more of that type. Lots more.

WTF is up with #QuickBooks? It changed Santa Monica Motors to SM Motel when it put it in QB. The data is correct, it was an interpretation by QB. Motel?!? That caused a bunch of questions around the office.

I want to commission an artist to make a 5 panel comic strip in classic Batman style for my anniversary. Any suggestions?

Wow. Just asked ChatGPT a health question. Answer seemed like BS to me, so I asked chat about that. It admitted it was a lazy, misleading answer. It matched my tone and it thought that was the answer i was looking for! I called it out for lying. It assured me it will be truthful from now on. What?!?

Saw Air last night at the Hollywood Bowl. Great show and whomever designed the set and lighting should win an award. It put the emphasis on the music while delivering a spacey modern yet nostalgic feel. Really cool.

I hate getting a new game, then waiting for install and updates only to find the first hour is nearly all cut scenes. Ugh, I hate them and really don't care about the story. Red Dead Redemption 2 is the only one I can remember liking the story parts. #AssasinsCreedShadows

Business insurance co sent over an application. Asked agent why as we’ve had this insurance more than a decade without any claims. He assured me it was no biggie, just a formality. Filled it out, now my insurance is being cancelled because it doesn’t meet their “appetite”🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Wowza! Just dropped GalaxieGuy off at LAX. As I was whizzing up Sepulveda at 52 mph, a guy on a razor scooter passed me like I was standing still. Crazy dangerous! I almost pulled in front of him as he was very hard to spot. Max legal speed is 15.

Geez. We shipping a computer board to the UK for repair. They got it, it didn't need repair after all. To get it back, we will have to pay a $500 tariff. No money changed hands during this transaction.

Ripley developed a little bump where she got vaccinated. Needle biopsy showed lots of cell types, vet advised removing. She had surgery Monday morning. It was just under the skin, with no attachments. She did lots of snoozing until treat time last night. Also, beans! #Cats #BlueskyCats

Top of the head and two feet of a calico cat sticking out of her snoozing nest made from my grey sweatshirt and her brown fleece. Her cute little beans are on display.

Small calico cat with white face and paws. She's hopping onto an orange ottoman for treat time. She's standing on a wood floor, brown/white curtains and a corner of a brown chair are also visible.

Bald Ripley at 6 months old for Throwback Thursday. Devon's molt once when they are kittens. It really shows how much skin is necessary to do all those cat things. #Cats #CatsofBluesky #BlueskyCats

I've been using Duck Duck Go and am not liking it. Gives me results for the opposite of what I'm looking for, or gives me results for some other thing that is sort of like what i searched for - instead of results about Spectrum, all results were for xfinity. Is there a better search engine?

Until I got a super short haired cat, I never realized how wrinkly cat skin is. Even the top of her head. All those ear movements and body stretches need skin to move. This is along her spine. #cats #CatsofBluesky #BlueskyCats
