Smoke wafted off her lips as she exhaled, pulling the cigarette away and holding it out in a lazy grip.

@apoetscurse.bsky.social “Hey! Think I can get a drink over here?… and an ashtray…” The look in Yuki’s eyes were a telling she was battling some internal demons. The near vacant expression turned as she waved her hand to the bartender seeking a little liquid nourishment.

@haguroonna.bsky.social “We should talk sometime, whenever you get the chance. I have a… problem…” -Yukihana Kōri Yuki, in her gigai, lets a written note folded in an envelope slip through their door before walking away discreetly.

“What was that sound…?” She goes quiet as she is in full Soul Reaper garb, her hand clutching the hilt of her Zanpakutō. Her glacial eyes turn to look as she hears a growl from ‘something’ nearby. “A Hollow? Shit…”

“Difficult to answer that. I’ve had them for as long as I can remember. They are not made with ink but my own energy. They shift and have different levels of vibrancy. I’m still understanding their unique properties. You like?”

The ice cold tattoos on her arms, chest and face began to shift over her skin, her eyes narrowed to dark slits as her hands flexed into fists while her sapphire lips dipped into a sneer. Her spiritual pressure began to fluctuate wildly, uncontrollably so as the air began to frost. “I’m. Done.”

“Asked what? I told you I didn’t want to have a conversation about parental figures and here you go blathering on about your grandpa training you and you have all these magical abilities…!” She gestured with her hands wildly. “I didn’t ask you shit! You are starting to piss me off…”

🍧: So, Yuki is more or less built. I’ll probably write a google docs fiction all about her at some point. On the other hand, I’d love to stretch out and look into another verse possibly? I was keen on trying Android 18 since I have a few DB Moots. The other idea was creating a Quincy? Opinions?

She shot them a look, how the hell were these people getting into the Soul Society? This multiverse world was weird…

Yuki had enough of this conversation talking about parents, grandparents and the like. “Good for you…” she flexed her jaw with the back of her hand causing it to pop. “If you’ll excuse me now… I have some training to do… some of us don’t have that bred into our genes…”

“I’m not going to apologize because you sounded arrogant.” She waves her hand dismissively at them. “I was an orphan, a street kid… so I’m not sure what it’s like to have family. And honestly, I don’t want to have a conversation about parental figures…” There was a bitter look in her eyes.

Yukihana Kōri (雪華氷璃) @galacial.bsky.social · 04/08/2025

“So you mean to say, you are genetically gifted to use magic. You have an inherent ability to use it.. you should have lead with that. The way you said it made you out to be a douchebag… though I’m still on the fence with that one…” She looks at them with a slight narrowed gaze.

She flicks the ash, letting it scatter into the breeze and looks away. “I don’t need a therapist, I get enough of that shit already. I know I’m already a broken woman. Something is itching, scratching its way to the surface.” She looks away, the cigarette half burned from her lips.

She stared at him, her eyes were a frosty blue and she gave him a deep, cold glare. She plucked the cigarette from her lips letting a thick plume of smoke drift off her lips. “I serve and protect the Human World from Hollows. That is my existence…here.”

She lights the cigarette with the tip of her finger. A plume of cold , frosty smoke exhaled past her lips. “Ever have this feeling like… something is wrong but you can’t figure out what it is? Like you know something is wrong but everything is normal?”

“Well, lucky you…” she looks around the corner to see a random kidō blast hitting a target. She shrugs and pulls out a pack of smokes, tapping one out with a finger. “It’s a lot of work to memorize the words, maybe it’s just me. I’ve been feeling … off lately, more distracted than usual.”

But she understands the necessary steps to becoming a full fledged Soul Reaper. She leans back against a wall, arms folded over her chest looking up. She blinks slowly. “Do you know any magic or spells?”
