For close to 10 years, my company has operated with a website that looked exactly like the screenshot below. For a mostly solo developer, operating in the IT space and mostly receiving word of mouth client recommendations, I sometimes wonder how we managed to survive. 😅 New website incoming... 🤓

Love Anthropic & use Claude daily, but denying access to Fable for non‑US paying users means Claude joins ChatGPT on my "should replace" list. This move will only drive more people to abandon US models in favour of Chinese alternatives. Great blog by @mitsuhiko.at, you & your LLM should read it.

Vibe coded a basic @svelte.dev app which displays the NFL playoff picture, since it's soon to be Wednesday in Europe and the official #NFL Playoff picture page still displays the playoff standings as of last week. 🫠 Maybe I should slap a "playoff probability by next nextGen stats" at the top. 🤔

Local Laravel faction was presented very well through Blaž Oražem, who had a very interesting talk about October CMS, presenting many of the strategies they use at the Spletna Postaja agency to successfully run and deploy ~700 projects in their day to day.

Had some twists and turns in the past few weeks. Time to go back to the lesson I learned in my Para Alpine Skiing days: when it doesn’t work, go back. In ski racing, that meant no skiing through gates, just freeskiing, making turns and finding the joy in everything being simple again. (1/3)

I haven’t figured out how to reset form fields from @svelte.dev remote function call (within form) after submit. Currently running this Frankenstein approach, where I don’t specify the withOverrides(), but it seems redundant, since it’s verbose & doesn’t utilize the optimistic update. 🤔 (1/2)

My 2nd Macbook, a Late 2013 model also known as logos, just received a new battery, got upgraded to macOS Monterey via OpenCore Legacy Patcher and is becoming the first computer of my 9 year old son. Waiting on late night OS upgrades sure bring back memories of computer era that is no more. 🥹❤️
