I honestly felt like cattle yesterday. Take money; shuffle through a 2 hour queue at points being asked to pack together like sardines; move down the production line quickly glancing, not seeing detail of the tapestry. Magical experience seeing it, terrible overall experience. Wouldn't recommend :(

The staff were great and credit to them. But being put in a position where we were threatened with the lights being turned off is ridiculous. It got so bad that some people in the queue were jeering people who were slower than others at looking.

I feel privileged to have seen the Bayeux Tapestry up front and it was a magical experience. However, it has been horribly mismanaged. It was 2 hours from time slot to actually see it close up. By that time we were guilt tripped into glancing at each panel and moving on.
