Brands have value. I thought that was the deal. (I don’t make the rules.) So WHY would you AGAIN undermine the value of the HBO brand (and Paramount) by combining them? We buy a bag of stuff from different brands, not knowing it’s from the same corporation. This guy wants you to know it’s ALL HIS.

Because there is a scene where (interestingly) I was not tracking the race/ethnicity of the people (which is rare from me…but these ppl have no backstory and often no names…)… …until the one white man started acting like a white man (😬 -“not all”)

It is interesting to me that rape and suicide are the two topics that, when mentioned in the news, are followed by the offer of support to those who feel the weight of those topics I’m not opposed to the support, but those are far from the only topics on the news that can profoundly affect viewers.

Yes to this 🧵 ALL DAY, for real. Spending time on the playground with my kids over the years makes this SO clear. There is a point where little white boys are just adorable children, and as they age you see the privilege and lack of consequences steal their ability to interact without doing harm.😔

I appreciate is the main character’s POV in #Silo is that of an engineer. There’s a lack of variety in the ways people THINK on TV, the lenses through which they view the world. Drs and lawyers on TV don’t usually think in ways informed by those jobs. Cops are given a point of view, but that’s it.

New guilt level unlocked: My inability (so far!) to resolve my chronic dehydration doesn’t just threaten my already overwhelmed kidneys…it keeps me from saving lives through plasma donation! Turns out I’m a (pretty rare!) universal plasma donor and I could truly be changing lives, but instead…😔😩

I need to figure out how to make my default existence closer to how I feel after taking an Exedrin Migraine tablet. It might seem silly to others, but I don’t like self-medicating to function, even to this modest degree. But getting doctors to partner with you to be WELL is hard, in my experience.
