Why does glazing art with only lines and, a bit of hatching and shading take longer than art that's fully rendered...? Dhdjjdjdjdjdb

Nothing is more depressing than when something breaks and the amount required to replace/repair it is the same amount you hoped to add to your savings but ofc you can't save it anymore cuz of this additional burden ahahahaha

Just realized that im putting too much weight on my pen grip and line strokes when i sketch the past few weeks which is bad cuz i sketch best when it feels light. Gotta go back to old ways. First useful 3am thoughts in a long time, i hope I don't forget this when i wake up later.

230

Moss is OPEN for ART commissions~ @gaiamossiah.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Hmm.. I'm not sure if this is just my internet having low signal today or because my country is banning discord but my messages won't send. If we were chatting and I didn't reply, i did NOT ignore you hahahuhu they just won't send and if it's the latter, maybe I can't chat in discord anymore

this reminded me of my first mural experience in 6th grade when we had to paint a 2-3 floors tall wall for a contest and we do not have ladders (we have one vs 5? students painting) so we get tables from the cafeteria, stack them...and yeah ig u know what follows next... without any safety gear lol

Hardest part of art comm process for me? Concept? ❌ Sketch? ❌ Lineart? ❌ Rendering? ❌ (lowkey but only because it takes time and sometimes i just want it done asap) Flat colors? ✓YES✓ cuz organizing the layers, esp in a way changes can easily be made if necessary, is hella draining for me ahaha

How does one do "emergency commissions"? How is it different from regular commissions? If in YCH comms..how is it different from normal ych comms? Cheaper and lower quality...? (I actually do not have ideas for ych comms rn im so boring)

"imma sleep for now" but I can't cuz it's starting to hit me that maybe it's actually broken and won't run again unless i spend thousands of pesos on it that I don't have since i just paid rent lmao what a timing. If I'm able to make it run again, no cleaning for years (jk)

020

Moss is OPEN for ART commissions~ @gaiamossiah.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

[dramatic rant] I cleaned my pc (basically just dust it off) and ofc it never fails to do that everything-is-on-except-display (i only have 1 and it's my drawing tablet) thing and I've done the basic solutions and it still won't turn on and i see this as a sign to end my [digital] art journey lol
