I've really just kept my account because social media is *very tenuously* better than crippling loneliness.

GaelwindVT🔞 @gaelvt.bsky.social · 17/04/2026

I keep seeing this trend and wanted to do it too! It was tough finding one with a personal story, maybe I just wasn't that kind of kid. #Pokemon #IndieVtubers

See and just have fun is part of the issue. In matchmaking (which Ranked was always more fair than Casual Queue in Granblue) it was 95% stomps in either direction, with very few matches feeling even and fun whether or not I won. Getting stomped just sucked all the fun out :/

How do I play fighting games without crashing out? I hit S rank once in GBVSR and it ruined my mental, but I see GGStrive talking about 2.0 and I want to justify the effort I put into making my hitbox again. Any tips, thoughts, etc? #IndieVtuber #GuiltyGearStrive

I wish I could do more stuff with my voice like that. I only recently found out I clear my throat all the time because of asthma and that wrecks your voice :/

For content creators that use sound treatment (wall panels etc), what do you use and what is your advice around it? I'll have to move houses in the next year and want to prepare what I need for my room. #IndieVtuber

I felt like this before my crashout (now I'm not in a place to replace my stuff and maybe figure out my audio better), but the feeling preventing me from coming back faster is "Literally everyone has done this already, better than you could with higher quality".

You can't make me feel old, Pokémon was in black and white when I was a kid.

I think the fear will always be there. For one thing a bad reaction from someone I admire would hurt, but the internet is a mindless mob and you NEVER want to give it a reason to come after you (i.e so-and-so "called you out" for raiding them).

Do what, read the book? I *have* been looking to get something along these lines 🤔

I love that, thank you for replying! I'll give that a look then.

I have to go Google it now, Fluxer is a reasonable alternative to Discord then?

We need the shock collar gimmick but instead it's a period simulator. Working title "Playing I Wanna Be The Guy except I experience a period every time I die"

Trying to track it down it seems like Jujutsu Kaisen getting sold to a different animator(?) MIGHT be false, but I just saw the latest episode and I refuse to believe that was MAPPA. A third or more was sound over a still image, they cut the animation frames.. It's so bad.

Omnisexual (from a quick Google) seems like an umbrella term that covers Gynosexual. So as with most gender identity/sexual preference things.. kinda >u<

100

GaelwindVT🔞 @gaelvt.bsky.social · 21/02/2026

It's being attracted to femininity rather than women per se. So a Gyonsexual is attracted to both Fern (Frieren) and Astolfo (Fate) to use popular examples. Femboys, Trans Women, and Women are all on the table, assuming they're feminine enough to pass your subjective interest.

110

GaelwindVT🔞 @gaelvt.bsky.social · 20/02/2026

Even Non-Binary Gynosexuals?! (Yes I am, and yes it was confusing af to figure out 😂)

There's somehow such little material in TMNT that they have to reference the arcade machines? That's not exactly unique to the IP.

GaelwindVT🔞 @gaelvt.bsky.social · 17/02/2026

Thank you ^u^ and same to you, it's really hard to find the actual terms for these things. I think I went through three or four theories before this one stuck (just wish it had a less awful name lol)

000

GaelwindVT🔞 @gaelvt.bsky.social · 17/02/2026

That must have caused some confusion early on. It took me years of embarrassed Googling to figure out I'm Gynosexual and that was a trip a few times lol.

110

GaelwindVT🔞 @gaelvt.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

I wonder if there's also something to it like "I'm surrounded by the kinds of lights and noises that I can tunnel-vision on, therefore I can zone in on one set and the rest becomes tolerable background noise". Because I also dont get overwhelmed in arcades but a crowded store scares me.

What's everyone's opinion on Go-Live posts? If you're a Streamer who makes them, do you see click-through at all? If you're not a Streamer but here to follow one you like, do you ever see the post before the notification from Twitch, and do they influence you to click? #IndieVTuber #VTuberUprising

I'm writing this with massively dilated eyes so forgive any spelling mistakes. Just got back from the Retina Doctor and great news! I *don't* need to get weekly eye shots for the next year! The crazy laser stuff they did was enough ^u^ What a huge relief. #IndieVtuber #VTuberUprising

I know it's a silly question but I respect your answer enough to ask anyway; Is making friends something I should be letting happen, or should be more proactive towards? Do you have any pointers on what I should be doing for that?

Believe me when I say I have a lot to learn (before I'm ready to save anyone..) but writing, recording, editing, and uploading your first Short is a hugely educational experience. Hopefully this can help people over time with an issue I never heard of before having it. #IndieVTuber #VTuberUprising

There's a wonderful video by Malummii called "How to edit like a Vtuber on DaVinci Resolve 19" and everything is the same in the newest version. I have to try and make myself do Shorts work tomorrow and it made things feel much simpler.

I'm not the type to think too hard about years as separate experiences so maybe this is trend-hopping for me. For 2026, I'd like to: -Hit Affiliate -Get comfy with recording/editing my own Shorts -Have at least one collab. Not anyone specific or shoot-shotting, just to feel real. #IndieVTuber

So quick addendum(b) to my post about debut tomorrow! I may have thought "I'm smarter than those other VTubers, I can handle multistreaming from the start!" And only just now realized you have to request permission to stream on Youtube.. So only find me on Twitch tomorrow!

I'm not jaded, but I tend to stay silent and have paranoid episodes when jumpscared or if I'm sleepy late at night in a dark house. Idk if I'd make any good horror content either :/ Plus like, I really don't like being spooked for days at a time afterwards.
