On 26 August 2026, seismometers recorded a 5.2-magnitude earthquake on the border between Nepal and Tibet. Except that it wasn’t an earthquake. It was a glacier collapsing at an altitude of 5,200 metres, and its fall caused the Earth to tremble. This video explains the mechanism, step by step.
