Also don’t know if this is useful advice but with your US passport, you’re allowed to stay in Canada for 6 months out of the year so technically you can just live there part time. Also I’ve had no issues crossing the border lately so you should be fine if you wanna visit Gool!

Gab @gabventures.bsky.social · 17/07/2025

Oh dang that’s 2 years longer than the wait time when I went through a similar process. Hang in there Star! It will all be worth it in the end!!

OMG the seagull cap is so cute! I'm going to the beach next month and just placed an order for one because I wanna look fashionable while protecting my face from the sun lol

I can't believe Nintendo just randomly dropped a new splatoon spin-off game, like helllooooo???? Guess it's time to get a Switch 2 soon 🤣

I turn 30 and then 1 day later immediately get imposter syndrome 😓. Is this what they call a mid life crisis? 😭

130

Gab @gabventures.bsky.social · 23/05/2025

Awww that’s awful. Sorry you’re dealing with that right now. Maybe it would help to find a different friend group. Like one that will actually care about you and your feelings.

A few weeks ago I had an interview for a position that seemed right up my alley. I felt like I did really well in the interview but unfortunately today I got a rejection letter. So close yet so far 😔

Is AI taking over anyone else's job? People here are now starting to use AI to show me what they want me to design. So then when I use my design skills to make something real and original, they get mad that it doesn't look like the AI image they generated...

Gab @gabventures.bsky.social · 23/04/2025

omg for once in my life i'm actually struggling to keep up XD I think I manage to journal only twice a week and have to write 3-4 entries at a time. 🥲

I got my Macrodata Refinement Value Pack from @hhaelines.bsky.social and I finally wrote about the last episode of Severance. Next season is years away but I can’t wait to watch it. #luckysoupe

Gab @gabventures.bsky.social · 10/04/2025

Oooooh it must be so nice to be able to print and cut your own stickers. I thought about getting my own equipment but then I realized it would be cost efficient since I’d only need it for zines.

110

Gab @gabventures.bsky.social · 10/04/2025

Yeah don’t ever use stickermule. There are so many better sticker companies out there. Personally my favorite is Sticker Bunnies and I’ve used them hundreds of times. Turnaround time can sometimes be slow but quality is 1000% perfect!

I’m glad to hear that your sister is supportive of your name change! Still sucks that your mom isn’t but I hope that changes soon. 🫂

Gab @gabventures.bsky.social · 03/04/2025

No way really?? That's so disrespectful. So sorry to hear that Grapes. Just keep being persistent about it and stay strong! I'm sure eventually she'll understand how important this is to you.

Gab @gabventures.bsky.social · 03/04/2025

I don't think people understand how badly the tariffs are going to impact zine projects. A 54% tariff on goods shipped from China could literally destroy some of the smaller zine projects. This is also bad for small shop owners too. I can't believe I haven't seen many people talk about this yet.

Gab @gabventures.bsky.social · 23/03/2025

Happy Totodile Community Day classic! Another successful meetup and some people told me that they come just to get a sticker. Yay the sticker incentive is working! Our local group is growing! 🐊

Gab @gabventures.bsky.social · 20/03/2025

I’m so excited for the finale but also so nervous to finally find out what cold harbor means. The buildup in last week’s episode was insane.

120

Gab @gabventures.bsky.social · 18/03/2025

I need to buy this whenever your next shop update goes live so I can write all about season 2 in my journal. 👀

110

Gab @gabventures.bsky.social · 18/03/2025

Omg seeing this just makes me even more hype for Thursday. I’m definitely watching the finale the moment 9pm rolls around.

110

Gab @gabventures.bsky.social · 18/03/2025

OMG Grapes we need to do a Severance watch party because it's my favorite show!!!!

110

Gab @gabventures.bsky.social · 17/03/2025

Omg I also went to the atla concert!!! I too cried during the secret tunnel sing along. That concert was fire!!! 10/10 would go to again!!

Oh my gosh I’m so excited and happy for you!!! Congrats Psan!!!!

Happy Fuecoco community day! I wasn’t able to attend my local meetup since I was stuck at an airport all day, however I did manage to play the last hour and got 15 shinnies and 300+ regular catches. Thankfully my CA was able to give these stickers to my local group!

030

Gab @gabventures.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

Will you be going to Go Fest in NJ this year? I plan on attending that one and if you go, I'd love to meet up and maybe do some trades together 👀

Here are the stickers I handed out for Pokemon Go Community Day during my local meet up. It was super cold but I had a great time chatting with regulars and newcomers. I caught a total of 16 shinnies! If any mutual wants a sticker, lmk because I have a few leftover.
