#NowPlaying Black Sabbath ‘Tyr’ (BMG re-issue, 2024) It’s almost always the most unfashionable of albums that best stand the test of time. A sprawling Heavy Metal epic ⚡️🤘🏻⚡️ #vinylcollection #vinylrecords #vinylcommunity #Metalsky

The queen herself—Boudica! 🐴 Known for leading the charge against Roman rule in Britain, she’s the ultimate icon of determination and triumph (and maybe tight scheduling). Whether you're channelling her warrior energy or just curious, there's plenty to discover about her. 💪

A stylised illustration of a fierce warrior woman with long, flowing hair and a horned helmet, standing in a chariot drawn by four black horses. She wears armour and a red cape, confidently holding a spear aloft. The background is textured in warm, earthy tones. The overlayed text reads: "When you have to destroy the Romans at 2 / But have a victory feast at 4."

#NowPlaying Winterfylleth ‘The Hallowing of Heirdom’ (Candlelight, 2018) Stunning English folk from UKBM stalwarts. The Sycamore Gap tree on the album cover has since been senselessly destroyed - its spirit lives on ✨🌳✨ #winterfylleth #vinylcollection #vinylrecords #vinylcommunity #Folksky

#NowPlaying Emperor ‘Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk’ green 2LP (Candlelight/Back On Black re-issue, 2005) Sublime from start to finish, this raised the bar massively for Black Metal in the late 90’s. Epic, rousing extremity ⚡️👊🏻⚡️ #emperor #vinylcollection #vinylrecords #vinylcommunity #Metalsky

#NowPlaying Paradise Lost ‘Shades of God’ picture disc LP (MFN re-issue, 2016) First PL album I heard back in ‘92 and it’s remained my favourite ever since. Greg Mackintosh’s tone on this is unreal, doom at its most exquisite #paradiselost #vinylcollection #vinylrecords #vinylcommunity #Metalsky
