Can't recommend this book enough: #CarlsTheodyssey by Nicolas Knight. It is a great way to spread the hope, truth, and faith found in the UB book without mentioning the UB at all. Also a great intro to authentic spirituality! And it's an easy read! #Urantia #God #UrantiaBook #Spiritual

Cover of Nicolas Knight's book: "Carl's Theodyssey, A Hopeful Skeptic's Guide to Finding God in the World of Teeth and Thorns" depicting a pair of hands holding a flame.

Very different from what's recorded on John 14:13-14, "And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." #Urantia #Jesus #UrantiaBook #God

Don't let anyone treat you like a means to an end. May your life be blessed with true relationships. #Urantia #UrantiaBook #universalgoal #friend #relationship

There is a saying in Spanish: "Hay más tiempo que vida", which can be translated to "There is more time than life", that I think applies perfectly to this truth gem in the UB book. It is usually said when someone is trying to hurry. #UrantiaBook #Urantia #Eternity #Time

A Creator Son did not incarnate in the likeness of mortal flesh and bestow himself upon the humanity of Urantia to reconcile an angry God but rather to win all mankind to the recognition of the Father’s love and to the realization of their sonship with God. -Urantia Book 98:7.1

#HolyFriday #Jesus #Crucifixion I always wondered if God had indeed abandoned Jesus or if he felt abandonde because of those last words on the cross. Now it all makes sense.

#AdamandEve #UrantiaBook #Creation That was one of my first questions when I read the bible. Who did Cain marry if there were no other people around?

#Education #UrantiaBook Bunch of antonyms here. So if "cosmic grasping" is the opposite of "success-seeking", does that mean education's goal should be the acquirement of cosmic spiritual values? And I'm also curious about something that is "ego exalting" vs "self-realizing".

Can you share a link by any chance? I haven't been able to find a translation.

The book was well done. It starts with a secret interview between the exastronaut, who is suffering from the effects of time traveling, and the writer. Then it delves into the astronaut’s narrative.

Sorry! So the author has always presented himself as a journalist, delving deep into religious mysteries or UFO stories. He presented the book as a story "based on real events", the account of an American astronaut who travels back in time, meets Jesus, and witnesses the last week of his life.

In J. J. Benitez' book, Jesus' dialogues were the parts that rang true to me and made me look deeper into the story. Like I said, I almost started believing in time travel.

OMG how exciting! This looks great! I want to see it already! It looks like it is 100% Urantia based. Are you considering filling in any possible gaps with some fiction or other sources? Just wondering.

I don't think the importance of encouraging creativity during our leisure time is emphasized enough. It is therapeutic as well as relaxing. #leisure #creativity #UrantiaBook

That's great! Keep in mind the Urantia Foundation has Mustard Seed Grants that are meant for precisely those types of projects. I wish I had the inspiration! Can you share a little bit of what you are doing?

Thankfully, even though the first Spanish translation of the UB was published in the 90s, some readers noticed the similarities and posted online. I ran across their comments on online forums when I was trying to find more about Benitez's book. I very nearly started believing in time travel!

Like many other Spanish readers, I found it through a science fiction book called "Caballo de Troya" by J. J. Benitez. Although the author now admits that the Urantia Book was "one of many sources", the Jesus in the story, his dialogues, are ripped from the UB pages.

That must have been a very rich experience indeed! I persevered through my first read on my own, with a lot of doubts and fears. I am now very thankful that the Spirit kept fanning my curiosity and thirst for truth. I cannot deny the spiritual experience that took place while reading it.
