Larger states haven't been able to get it off the ground. This is either going to have to be done by allowing people to buy into an existing program like Medicare or done locally with healthcare coops like we had in the 90's.

My theory is until at least 51% of Americans are unable to afford or obtain insurance is when something will be done. As of right now while people hate their insurance El-Sayed is offering a "pig in a poke" and then some like union workers will be worse off.

As someone who had a similar experience knowing the person makes it hard to prove and I even had a friend that the police wouldn't take the report because it was someone she knew. So these situations never are perfect where you follow a set of rules. Platner had a history of being abusive to women.

There were tons of stuff floating around about Platner. Collins' campaign had to have at least some of it. His own campaign paid some operatives to do some half assed vetting which came up with some of this and they ignored it.
