For me this has always been parts that are too big to fit into the print volume. When I need to split, make registration pins, joints, etc. often needing some kind of tolerance test print too.

Stumbled on your account recently - I’m fascinated by Gaussian splats. Do you have a suggestion for a “getting started” resource for dipping one’s toes? Seems like most pipelines string together a variety of tools. I am a technical person. I’d love to do *macro* splats of my garden :)

You nailed a feeling I had on a project this week. Advanced typescript stuff, I babysat Claude to make a passable implementation but it ended up so convoluted and unintelligible. Decided to rewrite by hand, and it took longer but it actually works! Plus I feel like I learned a lot along the way
