Opinion that might get me in some hot water but seriously if we start forcibly censoring some morally wonky art, we give room to censor more and more- just block and move on. If it’s actually illegal content to show, of course report that oml. But I don’t want to normalize witch hunts over art ig

I think you need to be super upfront and honest about what you’re making, but as long as it’s not exploiting children or real people I guess I can’t care too much. Even though I might hate the content itself, doesn’t mean I get I get to be a hypocrite about my views on free speech/expression

I think my stance on calling people on kink/fetish art of taboo sorts is… I think it’s all about informed consent. I don’t want to knowingly follow certain fetish content because it’s past a limit for me, but I don’t think it shouldn’t exist you know? Idk censorship blah blah blah it’s not my thing

I’m proud of it! I’m up to like 1500 subs on tapas and even though it’s not one of those crazy instant successes, I think it’s a more realistic timeline of slowly clawing up the ladder Consistency is key to getting more visibility 🤌🏻🤌🏻

As someone who released a comic to extremely little viewership for months, focus on doing it for you and keep at it even if it feels embarrassing. I still don’t have a big reader base but I would have no readers if I let that “8 views” count dissuade me

I have completely deleted my Duolingo. I was informed by one of my kids that the company has removed most of its employees and 70% of the company is run by AI. I urge everyone to delete their app.

Duolingo CEO says he's getting rid of contract employees and replacing them with AI

Duolingo employees can also expect their AI use to be graded in their performance reviews.

Yeah like C2E2 im sure would have some form of artist events/artists you can talk to. I went to SDCC under a professional pass and got a lot of feedback on my pitch. Otherwise its just putting yourself out there and talking to artists at their booths about their work

AAAA thats so cool!! I’m so excited to see some comic work from you :> cheering you on! Comics are fun for me bc idk its just a constant thing to work on and they’re not a sprint- they’re a marathon which I think can be hard at first but kinda nice in terms of consistency and fulfillment
