I have some changes in BG3 lore too: Barcus and Abdirak are companions in Lavis canon. Hope gets freed much earlier, Raphael and Gortash are killed after the game events. very clear, if you read both sagas. I vastly prefer Osten Ard, while really liking Westeros, Williams is a bit more subtle in his writing, he does not shy away from dark topics though. Making a young boy his protagonist in teh first saga is a great move, because the reader learns everything with him

The Hellbound Heart is a great and weird (in a good way) read. The first movie was made by the author, who improved on the original storyline (giving the main character a better motive to get involved for example, making the cenobites more unique). I really recommend it.

Not knowingly, but I gave Elias of the Coral Court more background and a bit more character. He was influenced by The Doctor a lot. There is not a lot about him in lore, just that he is an adventurous, good aligned, water environment protecting archfey, one of the sea lords.

Becoming prey to an Annis hag as a child was very scary for Liya. She was sure, she would not survive. She saw others succumb to the hag, but she was saved by a well intentioned archfey. She saw the hag again as an adult and it was again a close call.

Ylva sees her dead sister. She was killed by Cazador, who has a land dispute with Ylvas uncle. Neither she not her sister we're involved, but both became victims, her sister died, Ylva became a werewolf. The visitor doesn't match her sisters personality, so she doesn't trust them

Liya hasn't encountered him yet in her run, but she certainly can sing better than him, so she won't be impressed at all. But she will offer Korrilla a job, if she survives the fight. She likes her voice and believes in second chances.

Canonically, Lavi shut him down with a Hold Monster scroll. Vayu just outsung him in his HM run ( he is a sword bard and in my headcanon, he has to sing to use his flourishes, so just imagine Einar Selvig singing, Vayus voice claim, - Raphael has no chance really). Abdirak is emotional support.
