So THAT'S where this icon (for an item in a game called Deadlock) came from (more information: deadlock.wiki/Long_Range)
Artistic depiction of a moon in waning phase with a face wearing an expression of shock that appears to be having the left eye (from the viewer's perspective) being shot out as if by a laser (the shot is depicted as a beam culminating in a starburst over the affected eye).

Screenshot of Bluesky notification: "Marcus Aurelius followed you"

(Context: Marcus Aurelius was the author of Meditations, which is considered something like the Bible of the philosophy of Stoicism)

A meme consisting of an image of a girl holding a dodgeball while three other girls run away; the girl holding the dodgeball is labelled "Apollo", the dodgeball itself is labelled "the gift of prophesy", and the girls running away are labelled "random internet users just trying to be comedic"

A meme featuring a possum apparently screaming in a tree; the meme text reads:

We AAAAAAA

So can hear AAAAAAA

(the AAAAAAA is noticeably larger than the rest of the text)

The meme is a parody of another meme depicting a poorly-drawn stick figure dragon with the poorly-written words "we quiet so can hear gud". That other meme is itself a parody of the default background of the Kali Linux desktop, which shows a much better looking dragon and the quote "the quieter you are, the more that you can hear."

Same author ( @xgranade.com ) with another perspective on AI usage and output -- this post was locked, so I obtained permission before screenshotting and posting here. (The contrast is in relation to using e.g. auto-focus/on-demand face recognition when taking photos)
A Mastodon post by Cassandra Granade ("Cassandra is only carbon now") [at]xgranade[at]wandering.shop (mirrored to Bluesky at @xgranade.com ) which reads:

By contrast, genAI fundamentally alters my relationship to the photo, in an incredibly toxic way. It changes how I relate to the concept of "truth" (already somewhat of a weird concept in photography, but I digress). It's no longer something I can reproduce with mechanisms I can control and understand, it's doing something fundamentally opaque. That's not a great relationship for one to have with their art, even under the best of circumstances.

A post on Twitter by Cameron Kasky @camkasky (which reposts an apparently AI-generated picture of Thanksgiving dinner on a plane on a table with Elon Musk, Donald Trump, Eric Trump, Mike Johnson(?), and Robert F. Kennedy sitting around it, posted by Secretary Kennedy) that reads:

It is common sense to ban government officials from posting AI generated images. It poses a threat to our already devastated media literacy and is damaging to our democracy.

(anecdotal) (she did in fact go back to using and praising it eventually)
A Twitter post by Jessie Frazelle @jessfraz that reads:

I was using an LLM to write some basic code yesterday when I noticed it injected the most subtle fucking bug in the code & now I'm fully spooked off using them for a while. Could have taken me DAYS to find had I not realized.

A screenshot of a post from cyberspace.online , which is a "social media de-imagined" site with a cyberpunk kind of feel; it features the album artwork for clipping's Dead Channel Sky album "rasterized" (as if it were rendered at a "lower", "grittier", more cyberpunk-/basic-electronics-esque resolution)

@clppng.bsky.social this shot felt kinda perfect
clipping., comprised of Daveed Diggs (front, holding a microphone), William Hutson (back left, unfortunately partly obscured), and Jonathan Snipes (back right); the scene is heavily fogged, you can see a few audience members' heads in the foreground, and the word "BLESS" (as in "God bless the red", lyrics from Say the Name) is clearly visible behind Daveed's head, which is perfectly centered on the bottom of the word; out of context, the image could be mistaken for him holding service.

Okay, but actually, this is cheating because the computer is 6 years older than I am and we got it used. I could use it, but it didn't really do all that much (read: we didn't have a lot of programs for it and it didn't have a compiler or anything) This is my "more real" answer
Acer Aspire 7121 computer tower; lots of holes on the left side case cover, and in the front, the body starts at a narrow base and curves outward before sloping back slightly. There is a 3.5" floppy insert at the top, a CD-ROM directly beneath it, and a door with a dimple at the top that would be pressed to open, presumably for expansion drives. The Acer logo is on the bottom of the front.
