Battle March! Peasants flee to Nan Gau as a tribe of Ogres has come down from the Mountains of Mourn, pillaging farms for their livestock. Now a patrol under the banner of the Storm Dragon marches out to meet them, joining battle at the edge of a village where an ancient burial mound stands...
A Grand Cathay army and Ogre Kingdoms army are arrayed for battle in a game of warhammer the Old World!

Got distracted from a battle in Total War Warhammer 3 by an Orc stone circle. Stones haven't been dressed (other than the Orc skull carvings), but I like how the glyphs at head-height remind me of the bronze age axeheads and daggers carved into stones at Stonehenge.
A stone circle constructed from rough stones, some worked or painted with orc glyphs and orc skull iconography. A central stone is also decorated with horns/tusks. There's a tusked skull lying to the left, and an orc banner to the right.A stone circle constructed from rough stones, some worked or painted with orc glyphs and orc skull iconography. "Lucky Number 7" missed their lobotomy during servitorisation due to an error by the Adeptus Administratum, and retained enough of their mind to escape into the underhive. Some luck...

In what may be my friends' last get together to play Necromunda 2017, we're taking something of a no-holds-barred approach to gang building, and yet... I'm a little too much of Stillmaniac, too attached to this specific gang I've always run to change them. One last ride for the Slate Road Scummers.

Perhaps more relevant to your original post, I love this page at the start of the bestiary in the WFRP Lustria book. Real rogues' gallery of horrible ways to die in the jungle
An art piece of a jungle scene packed with various deadly wildlife: snakes, giant lizards, poisonous frogs, venomous insects, fungi spewing noxious spores... there's even a leech that belches fire.

In a fun mix of idioms in tonight's Warhammer The Old World game, where an unfortunate unit of thunderers found themselves stuck between a rock and a kharibdyss.
A warhammer battlefield in which a unit of dwarf thunderers led by an engineer are indeed between a rock and a dark elf kharibdyss. There are dark elf corsairs to the left, and a dwarf cannon behind the rock.

John Blanche's art has always been a defining part of my favourite imagined worlds. I'd particularly like to highlight the art he did for Dreadfleet - lesser known compared to his 40k work , but for me, these endure as my favourite pieces from his monumental portfolio of work. RIP.
King Amanhotep from Dreadfleet, by John Blanche. An ancient mummy whose clothing almost seems to be dripping from his body. Captain Jaego Roth, by John Blanche. A pirate camptaon in early modern clothing, bedecked the details like a ruff and necklace, multiple pistols, a serrated hook, and numerous feathers in his hat. Aranessa Saltspite by John Blanche. A pirate with a red bandana, a fishy jawbone across her chin, and clothing spiked as if the hide of a puffer fish. She is armed with a trident. Skretch Half-Dead by John Blanche. Drop something YELLOW!
A miniature servitor, a labourer cyborg dressed in yellow armour with black ribbing, a yellow kneepad displaying a large number "7" in black. Their arms and part of their face are exposed, showing bulging muscles and pale, yellow-green flesh. They wear fabric fatigues from the waist to the knee, at which point the lower legs are replaced with mechanical stilts, rusted, perhaps through lack of maintenance. Their left hand, flesh, holds a small revolver, while their right arm ends with a pneumatic claw grip, spattered with blood, and connected to their back by a large cable attached at the wrist. Their face is mostly obscured by a mask, fastened by a leather strap over their head - tubes feed in either side of their mouth, an antenna array covers their right ear, and a cable over their head connects to mechanical eye, glowing with a pale blue-green hue.
