VIRTUES is about a world where having a "Spark" (the magic system) means everything and an easier life. Follow Cecil, a powerless boy as he joins Hobbes Academy, a scho for those with a gift to prove that despite everything, he can be the best.

The first arc, "The Admissions Arc" follows Cecil joining the school after making a vow to be a part of the "Gifted Seven" despite lacking a Spark (power).

The first step? Beating his rival, Kain Scarborough, an arrogant boy who despite having a gift, finds himself on an equal level with Cecil

Cecil joins Hobbes Academy, the school for the gifted...

Despite his misfortune, he plans to do everything he can to join, even if it means sneaking in with his also powerless, yet bright twin brother
