iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

So my artist sense is telling me I should do some sort of drawing challenge for this month. I'm not gonna do Inktober like most other people though, instead I'm doing this more flexible alternative OC-tober Day 1: Fav OC #bweirdOCtober #art #oc #fancharacter #kirby

Drawing of Digit, a black-and-green plug-shaped creature, who appears to be happy. The top left shows an OC-tober calendar marking October 1st, and the prompt, "Fav OC."

Well it sure has been a hot minute! I've needed to get back into the drawing swing of things, and eepy Digit seemed like a convenient way to do so #art #oc #fancharacter #kirby

Drawing of Digit, a black-and-green plug-shaped creature. He's sleeping peacefully!

Target #6: DarkbySTAR (artfight.net/~DarkbySTAR) #artfight #art #oc

Drawing of Darkby and Viribelle, two Kirby-shaped characters. Darkby, the red one with a gray backwards cap, is building up power and yelling "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" as red energy crackles around him. Viribelle, the grey one with hair and a bandanna, crosses her nubs, saying "You look so stupid". The two are in a training grounds area, with a rough battlefield in the background and a sandbag that Darkby's presumably going to blast to shreds.

Target #5: MysteryAtTheHub (artfight.net/~MysteryAtTheHub) #artfight #art #oc

Drawing of two Pluggs (plug-shaped creatures) walking down a brick road in a small town. Digit on the right is black-and-green, and winking towards Konse Ron on the left, who's baby blue and white, with a bowtie made of triangles, an antenna dish on her top right corner, and a plug decal on her top left corner.

Target #4: Lensdavinci (artfight.net/~lensdavinci) #artfight #art #oc

Drawing of an anthropomorphic glass ball, with violet swirls inside of him and emitting from his top. He's sitting and watching the swirl as it swirls upwards, emitting various shapes.

Target #3: Bulbus-Oculi (artfight.net/~Bulbus-Oculi) #artfight #art #oc

A drawing depicting a portrait of a humanoid insect monster with red, compound eyes. He is wearing a white suit with a purple, decorated tie, and is smoking from a mahogany pipe.

Target #2: VC101 (artfight.net/~VC101) #artfight #art #oc

Drawing of the Nekomancer, a cloaked anthropomorphic cat sorcerer. His face is shrouded in darkness, and purple wisps of energy emerge from his cloak to form an ear, whiskers, and a long tail. Surrounding him are three cat ghosts--Rival (the red one), Fido (the blue one), and Veritia (the green one). All are looking at the night sky, as the sun sets and the stars begin to emerge.

oh boy artfigth time, been in a bit of a slump but i wanted to do something for artfight and that might finally dig me out of it Target: FuzzGuy (artfight.net/~FuzzGuy) #artfight #art #artti

a 2 panel comic, the first panel showing the night sky with 2 constellations, one shapped like a plugg from the kirby series, and another shaped like a wing, text below reads "I believe in a universe that doesn't care". the second panel features a black and greed Plugg named Digit and a purple bird named Sparrow, text below reads "and people who do"

Honey the art is fighting Target #1: Luigi Kirby (artfight.net/~LuigiKirby) #artfight #art #oc

Drawing of two characters, Psydee (orange waddle dee wearing a top hat and a slightly tattered cloak) and Psychic Bro (Hammer Bro with a purple shell and tan skin, with closed regular eyes and an opened third eye) floating using psychic energy. They're fighting each other in their minds using their psychic powers, both surrounded by various clones of each other. Psychic Bro attacks with his power while keeping Psydee's copies away, Psydee barely blocking the attack with a shield. In the real world, Psydee's face is strained in concentration.

So on #artfight last year someone wanted to attack Booris' boyfriend, but I didn't have him on the site. This year I want to change that, so here's Phil! #art #oc #fancharacter #mario #piranhaplant

A reference sheet for Phil, a chef Piranha Plant (red venus flytrap-esque plant with white spots and big teeth) wearing an orange chef cap. His stem extends to a round-shaped belly, owing to a unique mutation Phil grew with. This mutation makes his stomach extremely acidic, letting him spit poison and digest nearly anything. He usually swallows his food whole, and has the ability to think coherently, but usually doesn't. You'd better like his cooking, or ELSE (he bites you)!!!! Phil is also gay! Happy pride!

I will NOT forget to post more art later this month Psydee here is one of my older characters (as evidenced by the rather uninspired name), but he's probably one of my favorites. He's very calm and calculated, but has heavy emotional baggage he can't shake. #art #oc #fancharacter #kirby #waddledee

A reference sheet for Psydee, a waddle dee wearing a top hat and a slightly tattered cloak. His body is orange and beige, while his shoes and ribbon on his hat are both bright teal. A yellow gem holds together his cloak.
Psydee, the Turncoat Psychic, is a calm and cunning Waddle Dee with psychic powers, such as projecting energy bubbles, and using telepathy, psychokinesis, and levitation. But because of an incident in his past, there's seemingly no way for his powers to grow to their full potential. Psydee betrayed Digit and his friends to obtain more power to circumvent this, but in the process ended up getting possessed by something, of which nobody knows what, resulting in Digit having to save him. Psydee meditates to keep what power he has left from fading away. He like to read novels, and is always tired, but hides this from the people around him.

Is April Fool's over? Can I leave my bunker now? Phew! This new refsheet is for Chroma, a multicolored Squishy. He's shy and often (literally) runs away from his problems, but is also very good at navigation and a hobbyist artist. #art #oc #fancharacter #kirby

A reference sheet for Chroma, a mostly cyan squid whose other body parts are different vibrant colors. He has six tentacles--two long arm-like tentacles (pink and lime), and four rather short leg-like tentacles (blue, green, purple, and yellow). His mantle and fins are orange, dotted with various white spots.
Chroma, 'The Shy Navigator', is a rather timid Squishy who was born multicolored, which also affects the color of his ink. He spits this ink from his mouth (under his tentacles), and actually uses it alongside ink in painting, being a hobbyist artist. Chroma also has a sketchbook, though it hasn't been used in some time. Chroma is very skilled at swimming...and also running away.

Well, I haven't posted a character refsheet in a while. That changes today! This is Sparrow, an energetic Birdon who's talented at flight and blowing wind gusts. No matter the challenge, she'll be down to tackle it wings-first! #art #oc #fancharacter #kirby

A reference sheet for Sparrow, a purple bird with a red backwards cap. The tips of her wings, along with some feathers poking through the cap and her shoes, are periwinkle blue. Her beak is a bright yellow and she has amber-colored eyes. There is a wing patch on the back of her cap, which she got from a good friend.
Sparrow, "The Sky-High Explorer", is a unique and very energetic Birdon who has been Digit's best friend ever since they were in grade school. Sparrow's best two abilities are flying fast and far, and flapping her wings to blow strong winds. She teaches piloting and flight courses in her own flight school--part of the reason why is because she talks so much that she's a certified yapper.

And here's my first art of the year--a new and improved ref sheet for one of my Kirby fan characters, Digit! Digit is a Plugg whose body is made of source code, a mysterious material. Digit can use that code to do cool things! (Reposted for alt text and signature) #art #oc #fancharacter #kirby

A reference sheet for Digit, a plug-shaped creature. His main body is dark gray with green prongs, eyes, and feet.
Digit, "The Reborn Code of the Multiverse", has a body made of source code, which lets him manipulate the world in various ways. Digit's abilities are limited though, because if he tries to do something too powerful, he passes out.
Digit is very kind and likes to make friends! He loves pretty much everyone unconditionally. Apparently, Digit used to have a different form before becoming source code, but he doesn't remember it. Strange...

Booris here is a frosty Boo who's warm and passionate. He likes to socialize! #art #oc #fancharacter #mario #boo #artfight

A reference sheet for Booris, an icy Boo (white ghost) with a purple tongue and a blue bowtie. Booris is one half of the talk show Showtime!, which he hosts with his friend Kraft. Booris himself can spew frost breath, and likes to hear himself talk a lot. He's an aficionado of ice cream, and knows where to get the best scoops--mint is his favorite flavor. Booris is also gay! Happy pride! (Kraft isn't his boyfriend, it's someone else)

In preparation for #artfight I'm updating a few more refsheets for fan characters I have from other franchises! This is Kraft, a flaming Dry Bones with a chill attitude. #art #oc #fancharacter #mario #drybones

A reference sheet for Kraft, a Dry Bones (skeletal turtle creature) whose bones are charred brown, wearing red gloves, shoes, and bowtie. The back of his head is on fire. Kraft is one half of the talk show Showtime!, which he hosts with his friend Booris. Kraft himself can throw fireballs, but often forgets he's on fire, which can lead to accidents. Kraft works as a metalworker and welder, where his pyromancy comes in handy--though usually he uses regular welding equipment. Kraft also has his own pet Revver (skeletal dog-like creature with a wheel for a body), Crisp! She's a good girl :>

I haven't posted a new ref sheet in a while, let's fix that! Kind ironic that out of the bunch of Kirby OCs I have I'm posting the one most derivative of Kirby last, but I digress. Whiz here's a master mechanic and original founder of the Journeys Exploration Team. #art #oc #fancharacter #kirby

A reference sheet for Whiz, a yellow round-shaped being wearing goggles, a red bandanna, and a mechanical pack. His gloves are brown with glowing digital pads on the undersides, and he also has brown shoes. Whiz, the Brilliant Inventor and founder of the Journeys Exploration Team, is the oldest of the team and very smart and experienced. He's a great mechanic, able to build and fix mechanical equipment, and he's also pretty good at cooing (he makes a mean lasagna!). Whiz's gadges include his goggles (which have a built-in HUD and can scan enemies for weaknesses), his glove pads (which emit electricity and have their own HUD, serving as tracking devices for Jet, who Whiz built), his trusty mech pack (which stores electric energy used in all of Whiz's gadgets), and mechanical arms (which are very sharp, and can be rotated quickly like helicopter blades to fly). After a terrible incident, Whiz went into hiding from the world, becoming a hermit for 2 years straight. As such, he's still working to rebuild his social skills.

Happy anniversary Kirby! Figured I'd draw something considering the impact this little pink guy has had on me #kirby #art #fanart

Drawing of Kirby, a round pink little blobby creature with red feet, winking and waving as he flies by on a yellow Warp Star. He's flying in outer space, with his home planet of Popstar visible in the background. Text reads "Happy Anniversary Kirby!"

FINALLY! I've now drawn every villager I've ever had on my island in New Horizons! (I managed to find Chadder to replace Octavian! I LOVE HIM) #animalcrossing #art #acnh

Drawing of Mint, a snooty squirrel villager from Animal Crossing. Fittingly, her main body color is mint, with rosy cheeks, brown hair, and dark teal and white stripes on her tail. Her dress is a light beige color, covered from top to bottom with pink, teal, and orange polka-dots that overlap with each other. Mint is doing a curtsey with this dress!

Drawing of Tex, a smug penguin villager from Animal Crossing. He's mainly navy blue, with white and salmon-colored face markings, and wearing a blue and white varsity jacket with a yellow 'K' patch. Tex is holding his wings out, singing wonderfully.

Drawing of Frank, a cranky eagle villager from Animal Crossing. He looks more like a parrot, sporting mainly green coloration with yellow and dark brown face markings, and a bright yellow beak and legs. He's wearing a blue and white varsity jacket with a yellow 'K' patch, crossing his wings.

Drawing of Chadder, a smug mouse villager from Animal Crossing. His body is yellow and covered in orange spots, making him look like cheese, and his nose is green. He's wearing a black tailcoat suit with a red bowtie, and he's taking a bow!

This is a very story-important drawing relating to Sparrow and Digit but don't be worried if you don't get the context! I'll explain it in the alt text that will also expose my music tastes again #art #oc #fancharacter #kirby

Drawing of Sparrow, a purple bird with a red backwards cap, climbing a rocky mountain with patches of snow at nighttime. She's facing off to the side, but has noticed a reflection in a puddle of melted snow, bringing slight tears to her eyes--a silhouette of Digit, a black-and-green plug-shaped creature, facing off against a large bird-shaped shadow (it's a Dyna Blade).
To the side are lyrics from the song "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac:
"And if you see my reflection in the snow-covered hills...
well, the landslide will bring it down"

Context: tl;dr, Digit (against his control) vanished for 2 years, and Sparrow, who thought he actually died, became very depressed and struggled to work through it. This is the 2-years-later part after Digit mysteriously reappears (once again out of his control)--Digit's found himself fighting a Dyna Blade he didn't want to fight, and Sparrow, who just so happened to be on the same mountain, noticed the battle going on.
She's gonna cry so much

Oh I completely forgot to post these villager drawings I finished 💀 The ironic bit is I'm working on getting Octavian off my island and Skye IS off my island, but I figured it'd still be nice to include them! #animalcrossing #art #acnh

Drawing of Octavian, a cranky octopus villager from Animal Crossing. He's a red octopus wearing a "GOLD"-branded black t-shirt, crossing his arms with an angry expression.

Drawing of Skye, a normal wolf villager from Animal Crossing. She's a sky-blue wolf with white cloud markings patterned over her body, wearing a simple blouse with a floral pattern, and looking to the skies! Probably cloud-watching, if I had to guess...

Drawing of Winnie, a peppy horse villager from Animal Crossing. She's an olive-colored horse with a gold star mark on her forehead, wearing a black-and-white striped sweater. She's confidently running!

Drawing of O'Hare, a smug rabbit villager from Animal Crossing. He's a brown rabbit wearing a straw boater hat and a blue hawaiian shirt with pineapple designs. He looks like he's showing off...
(Side note, but O'Hare's teeth are depicted as orange-ish yellow in game. I like to imagine that's because he has golden teeth!)

More AC villagers! I'm attached to these two because they were both on my first island--then when I reset and started my new island, they both immediately showed up in the beginning villager hunting quest! So I'm a bit attached to both 🧡 #animalcrossing #art #acnh

Drawing of Hornsby, a lazy rhino villager from Animal Crossing. He's a blue rhinoceros wearing a green patterned sweater, and eating an apple!

Drawing of Melba, a normal koala villager from Animal Crossing. She's a light brown koala with pink cheeks and ears, wearing a colored plaid dress that's flowing in the wind.

I've been on a bit of an Animal Crossing kick lately,so I decided to try drawing the villagers I have on my island in New Horizons! (More on the way!) #animalcrossing #art #acnh

Drawing of Goose, a jock chicken villager from Animal Crossing. He's a white chicken with a yellow beak and legs and a red comb, and he's wearing a blue-and-red aloha shirt. He's pumping his arm in a flex!

Drawing of Cherry, a big sister dog villager from Animal Crossing. She's a red dog with a purple nose and black-ish spots in places, including her face, ears, and limbs. She's wearing a tee with a spider-web design, and doing a sassy-looking pose.

FuzzGuy @fuzzguy.bsky.social · 21/01/2026

I do think the bosses were both challenging and fun, and the final boss was pretty cool even if I don't think it hit the same highs as the base game final boss (enjoyers of the specific Pokémon may love it though). So overall? Not as good as base game, but I think I still had a good time with it

100

FuzzGuy @fuzzguy.bsky.social · 21/01/2026

But also without much of a guaranteed way to determine what specific perks your donuts get, you kinda just have to roll your berries until you get something that barely works. It wasn't that bad when this mechanic was optional in Sc/Vi's sandwiches, but now that it's mandatory it feels pretty harsh

100

FuzzGuy @fuzzguy.bsky.social · 21/01/2026

There were lots of tough fights too (Honorable mention: wiping to a Lv.99 alpha Annihilape (y'know, That One)) so it also felt engaging. But as for the distortions...well, they straight up don't tell you higher-star distortions drain your timer faster, so that felt offputting for me.

100

FuzzGuy @fuzzguy.bsky.social · 21/01/2026

So compared to the main story, I actually don't like it as much? I'm sorta neutral on it, actually?? I think the best part about it is how many EXP candies they give you, so you can quite literally take a Pokémon you just caught and put it on par with the rest of your team pretty easily

A drawing of Digit, a black-and-green plug-shaped creature. He's sitting on the edge of a cliff and looking out into the distance, as light pink clouds fly behind him. Surrounding him are lyrics to the song "Know Who You Are" by Supertramp:
"Don't be afraid of the love deep inside you"
