Here is a very handsome Greater Arid-Land Katydid that was creeping up the wall of our house this morning. It was HUGE. #insects

These cornhole boards were made by my husband and painted by me. And then it took me ages to figure out how to lacquer them and actually do it, but today the legs were fitted back on so now they’re Done! And we will have the best most colorful games of cornhole in existence.

A pair of 4x2ft boards with a single 6-inch hole in the top end of each, and a pile of beanbags. One board has a Sun design, the other has a Moon.

The Moon, Jupiter and Venus all in a line this morning. I overexposed the crap out of the moon (grabbed this shot mid-workout so didn’t have a ton of time to play) but the terminator looks cool today. Look at all those craters!

Jupiter and Venus (brighter one) were looking fantastic this morning. They were so close together - less than a Moon diameter, they both fit in the view of my #Hestia. You can see the moons of Jupiter as that diagonal line of dots running through it. #planets #astrophotography

A few months ago, I was approached by the good people at @nelsonatkins art museum in Kansas City MO, asking if I could provide astrolabes for a forthcoming exhibition. I was delighted to work with them. The exhibition opened this week, and they just sent me these photos of the installation :-)

My friend gave me a bunch of bulbs. The two circled pots now contain secret treasures; biding their time until Spring. (I know nothing about gardening so I hope this works)
