Is it expected of me to have a finalised idea of what I want to do when I send the forskningsplan to the university, or can there be wiggleroom for changes if I'd actually get the position? Not sure at this very moment what my chosen method would be.

I'm applying for a doctorate position (mostly just for fun, I'm not gonna get it), and it's equally energy draining as fun to write the forskningsplan (disposition?). Makes me realise I've missed writing academic papers!

One hour in and it's not getting better 🥲 SPOILER-ISH: However it's very upfront with the fact that the robot isn't turning evil over time by itself or always were evil (common tropes); it's the human who alters the programming for evil, selfish reasons. I can't remember I've seen that much before.

@davecat.bsky.social I now realize I may have pronounced "cheap" as "sheep".. But I was dumsnål not to buy fresh numbing cream and instead though that my several year old one would still do the job (it didn't, who would have thought)

To do this on a soft surface isn't as effective (especially the back-cracking part). I think I get more in touch with the sensations in my body while on the floor, so it's easier to enter a meditative state. My bed is where I rest without intention to do this mind/body reset, I just scroll my phone

I lie down on the floor from time to time, not necessarily due to exhaustion, but to meditate for a moment if I've been sitting still for a long time (or been up on my feet without rest). My back tend to crack as well, which is a nice bonus! :-) TLDR: Floor time is kind of a way to reset myself.

A very negative thing about translating the thesis three years later is that I can no longer access some of the material I used, as I'm no longer a registered student at my university; so I can't make certain that I use the same terms as the researches does in their original works.
