Do it! Though I'd say if you can do a redirect for your website's after the switch is done it'll catch the people who miss the announcement. Also having an update post before and after the change will help stop ppl from getting too disoriented, especially those who havent followed very long.

Disability is a word with multiple meanings. It has a legal meaning, a medical meaning, and a personal meaning. I think without getting more information from survey respondents it would be difficult to know what the 5.2% include. Hard to exclude an ambiguous value, they're still screen reader users.

Excited to share a logo design I made for BluePerch who provide funding for high-impact farmed animal advocacy projects. The logo has good contrast and comes with a HTML style guide. futurehorizondesign.net.au/portfolio/bl... #logodesign #animalwelfare #graphicdesign #accessibility #a11y #styleguide
The BluePerch logo features a stylised sunbird with a simplified and stylised appearance with geometric divisions for the wings and body. It has its head raised with its body perched on arcing blue petals. The main colours are yellow and brown for the sunbird with blue for the petals. The brand name BluePerch uses a sans-serif font positioned under the logomark.

Atari Style Randomart (Updates) - Future Horizon Design
I made a randomart artwork, an illustration of a ssh fingerprint for a public and private key pair.

Travis Jeans @futurehorizondesign.net.au · 24/04/2026
Sharing some old artwork because I don't hate it as much as when I first made it. It's a randomart, a visual way of validating SSH keys. Except I turned it into an Atari style weather forecast. #krita #atari #retrocomputing #retro #pixelart #linux
Weather Randomart with five large example weather made of double wide blocky pixels: cloudy, cloud with possibility of rain, cloud with sun, cloud with rain, thunderstorm. A randomart grid is overlaid over a closeup of the state queensland of Australia with icons scattered over the coast and inland in a diagonal. The icons include smaller versions abstracted yellow, blue, or cyan squares representing different types of sunny to rainy weather. Beneath it reads RSA 3072.

Honestly any game over $100 I would really question if it's worth it. Even Elden Ring was a massive game and I felt I didn't pay enough for it, huge amount of content compared to previous Souls games for maybe $60-70. Thankfully we have indie games that aren't quite so insane about their pricing.

It depends how much you want to penalize those who make artwork or do photograpy or long-form content with pictures. For penalizing bloat and unoptimized content, maybe 1MB as an upper limit or maybe 500kB for extra difficulty. My images tend to be around 100-400kB each but I do try to optimize.

A cartoon with flat colours on a purple and yellow isometric grid background. Xue the mouse has climbed onto the mug and is looking at the swirling liquid inside. The mug is filled with red-pink liquid and the debian swirl logo is like a curl of steam. Tux the penguin is sleeping against the tea mug and saucer on the opposite side with his fins resting on his stomach. The Linux, XFCE logo, and Debian text logo are in two separate purple squares of the grid and have a light yellow fill. The latter two are listed as XFCE x Debian.

I made an abstract artwork inspired by the style of Marina Vandra for the January Inkscape Challenge. It represents ocean creatures and primitive lifeforms. Hope you all like it! I'm trying to explore other art styles. #inkscape #FOSS #linux #illustration #inkscapechallenge #graphicdesign #vector
Portrait orientation flat-style artwork. Above and below are reef-like shapes with schools of fish arcing above and pebbles on the rocks below. Between is a light blue floor made up of coral with holes in it. Three elongated frames overlaid on top contain blobby cell like structures in the first frame, rain and pebbles in the second, and a low-opacity overlay on top. Beneath the third frame are floating embryo like shapes that look like question marks.

It's good that genAI has a dedicated channel and is separated from the other channels. I've seen some servers have a "politics containment zone" for political discussions (though I don't tend to use them). Is there a policy to protect LGBTQ people? Like, no homophobia -no misgendering, deadnaming?
