The creation process of a single item is such a time and effort consuming process! From concept art to texture paint, it’s a crazy pipeline most people never see! As game dev it becomes obvious but sometimes, it’s nice to step back and admire the beauty of the process.

For furyball, we got particularly influenced by Anime and Mangas from the 90’s Akira's Graphical style, as well as it's dystopic city and sensory overload Hokuto No Ken's over-the-top brutality and characters full of personality Gunnm’s Megacity, ultra violent sport and iconic female protagonist

Furyball is a love letter to Grindhouse cinema & pulp 70s. Rollerball + Planet Terror × The Warriors. Excessive violence, retrofuturism, scratched film, blood, dust, and over-the-top action. We wanted to make something dirty, excesive and cool. Got any hidden gem of the genre we should watch?

Our VFX artist @LivJenger just spent the last week working on some Fire VFX...during one of France's worst heat wave! I don't know which was the worst : Creating convincing fire effects or Watching flames 8 hours a day under 40°C At least it's an immersive experience...
