Sadly no BFC for me this year. Happily it’s because my work is sending me to Columbia to meet with the South American team. I’ll miss you all. But I mean… company paid trip to the southern hemisphere… sorry not sorry. lol.

So I'm workin on the site design. We decided to put a prominent link to our Generative AI policy statement in the footer on every page. Maybe other brands will do this too. Who knows.

Fables Diapers Generative AI Policy:

We're not into it.
Fables Diapers does not and will not use artificial intelligence (AI), LLMs, image generators, code generators, text generators or any kind of generative AI tools for any of our products or marketing materials. All our content, from a concept sketch to a blog post to a marketing video to a product design, is created by a fairly-compensated real person.

We know this takes longer and is more expensive, which is particularly hard on a small startup business with limited resources facing a time crunch. But we’re also artists, and we've personally felt the negative impacts of AI: it’s not good for us or our community. So we don't touch it.

That said, as AI worms its way into every piece of technology we use, we can’t promise that some software plugin or graphics tool won't use AI somewhere in its architecture in ways we don’t notice or can’t disable. We give you our word: we will never knowingly use LLM-based tools to create or help create anything you see, touch, read or purchase from Fables.

That's all we have to say about that.

Feeling weird this morning. Been back at home and back at work for 2-weeks now; after being on a month long motorcycle trip for a sabbatical (I'm sure you saw my pics during the trip). It was the best month I've had in years but my brain is still not sure what happened. It feels like it was a dream.

Hey, that’s not baby diaper art?! That’s a picture of two glasses of beer. How very dare I! In my defense, beer makes for saggy sog time. 🍺

4-years of art school, 15-years of professional experience… and for what? Apparently so 20-something’s can question every decision I make. Nothing is more soul crushing than having every choice you make questioned by people who have no idea how you do what you do. A once good job now sucks. Fuck me.

Had to get out of the house. If you live in a city in the north, search out if your city has a conservatory. Their great.

Well, that was fun! Props to the BFC staff and volunteers for another great con! And HUGE shoutout to all my fellow artists whom I probably annoyed! LOL. Thanks for being awesome; I’d call you all out by name but the list is too many for the character limit. Hope to see you all next year! 😎

I got bills coming up this Monday and need some work before my first paycheck comes in another week or so (under biweekly pay again). It’s 70 USD and can do any species and any diaper prints and designs. I’ll be taking 6 slots at a time and will be done over the weekend. t.me/puppyrooart/...

Motorcycle vacation! Rode from Tampa to Key West. 104° and SUPER UV sunny on the ride down on Tues (8-hours); 85° and mostly raining on the ride back to Tampa today. It was very wet! But Key West was cool! Here are some photos.

My BFC '25 Update! Yes, I am going. No, I am not working or taking commissions. Because BFC was so awesome last year in making me the Guest of Honor, this year I have decided to volunteer for the con as a small Thank You. Blame Rad, Panda, and Evox for putting a gremlin in charge of things. Muahaha!
