Any late 90’s AF slr from Canon Nikon or Minolta. HP5 and a paterson tank. you’ll likely have more fun pulling your negs off the spools than taking your photos. “Scanning”setup using a cheap mirrorless with a vintage film / slide duping tube from ohnar or similar 👍🏼

I rejected all, obviously and it’s got a powersave that’s disable-able and a setting that allows you to set the tv to power on at the same source and channels, rather than power on to a menu or guide. Buttons on the remote are well labelled and big too well done JVC

my father has dementia. he can cope with changing channels, but having to select a source, then kill the fucking “home” screen of suggested viewing. oh, and the tv / viewing box has a powersave that you can’t disable and powers the whole shebang down every 4 hours

check for corrosion (open the battery door with a coin or you’ll snap the hinge) if clean, buy it. even with a little corrosion, these use a choice of AAA’s or a cr123. often if the Aaa terminals are janky, camera still works with a cr123 battery

That’s weird. Every MZ i’ve come across has broken plastic parts in the mech. They really are shit, nice to see they’re replacing the shitty plastic bits as part of it, but there’s better (i know that’s subjective) cameras out there to do this to - Nikons and Dynax of this era for a start
