did you know? miyako's name in hidamari sketch (宮子) can mean "palace child" however, in mapudungún (the indigenous language of the Mapuche people in Chile), miyako can also coincidentally mean "gold water" "miya/milla" = gold, golden "ko/co" = water thought it was interesting.. #hidamarisketch

i realized i haven't sampled earthbound a lot for beats, which is ironic considering i call myself ness, so i made a nice little beat off the tenda song which has a surprisingly good bpm for hip hop (103) and a 4/4 time signature (also i recommend listening with headphones)

as is tradition, the first drawing of the year are the stus. this time, a swipin' stu settled on top of the winged stu, who will now get burned. first stu died, so he's a coin now. also, swipin' stu has mario's hat. that means he's coming to retrieve it. what's will happen next? find out next year!

here's also a snippet of a title track i made for the game. i can't post all of it because the video limit here is a minute but the song repeats a lot so it's fine. i accompanied it with a mockup of it as a DS game lol
