This is the first shoe I made after I decided to begin the project Shoes as Storytellers in 2021. When I first made it, the sock was solid across the top, it was a bit creepy, like a bone. So I trimmed it off. See more shoes and read the stories that inspired them on my website, funkydori.com

I have noticed a lot of the accounts following me are spam or single men. When I first joined the single men would DM me all the time. Because of this, I have my DM settings set to only allow people I follow to message me. If you’re broccoli, I’m probably not going to follow you back.

Yes animal shelters are on the list.

Volunteers,
As you may have heard, ICE paid a visit to
Sunday.
They were looking for a specific individual with administrative discrepancies in paperwork, and no other suspected criminal activity.
This was not a "raid"
cooperated with law
enforcement and followed proper legal protocols.
Honestly, because this was a federal government action, we don’t have any more information.

Lolly’sShoe, 2024 The shoe was originally sculpted from clay, based on images I found online. I later discovered these very clown shoes in the Ringling Museum, Sarasota - Bill Ballentyne’s shoes! I was pretty stoked to see how accurately I was able to cast them in glass. #glassart #patedeverre
