I hope it tastes like papaya
Papayo

Farm: Armenia, Quindio, Colombia

Process: Washed

Tasting Notes: Milk Chocolate, Papaya, Cardamom, Hibiscus

Farm Notes: This single origion, single varietal offers representation of a complex Ethiopian heirloom coffee. This coffee was grown by Jairo Arcila at the farm Santa Monica. This coffee is harvested following strict ripeness criteria, floated and hand- sorted to remove any defects. Cherries were then exposed to 30 hours of underwater fermentation before being pulped.

I'm pretty sure I have 🅱️oronavirus and am pretty darn sick. I didn't have the energy to wash my carafe but it turns out I had another piece of Hario glassware that worked, I present to you the cha cha kyusu maru carafe lol. I'm broke so it's shitty coffee.

I think I found the reason that my wagon keeps being low on coolant despite not having a leak, I think it is burning (!) because the engine gets low on oil (!) because it is literally freaking leaking out my broken dipstick seal that I didn't know was broken!!! I hope I didn't kill my car.
a picture of the engine bay of muh wagon with the dipstick that the top sealing bit had broken off off, showing absolutely no oil on it, nothing in the sump at all!a picture of the same engine bay with the same dip stick when the engine was cold showing that there is oil in the sump but it is like 2-3 liters down from where it should be and very dirty.

Ingesting honey process Colombian coffee out of my new pretty princess of a mug. Look at how sparkly! I don't think I have ever actually bought honey process coffee intentionally before but I think I must have had it, as far as I can tell it's halfway between natural and washed, because it's pulped
A pale hand holding a nice orange zojirushi mug in sparkly metallic paint in a vertical orientation on a black backgroundA bag of coffee resting on a wooden surface. The bag says farm: fidencio adarme process: honey tasting notes: maple syrup, cherry, caramel, juicy orange. Farm notes: from a remote farm in Colombia, this coffee uses an unique proces for conservation of water, giving the coffee a sweeter and balanced flavor profile. Also it says keebler coffee roasters roast date 2/7

This city roast of the same Yirgacheffe beans is so much more like what I am used to when I think of a light roast coffee. It’s a little darker than the Sumatran. That light chaff in the grounds is usually what I go by. Very creamy mouthfeel and lots of different citrusy floral flavors.
A picture of small Ethiopian coffee beans, darker roasted this time, more like I am used to being called a light roast. The parchment skin pokes out silvery-white through the cracks of the beans.A picture of a hario switch coffee brewer at a Dutch angle on top of a carafe full of black coffee on top of a white hario coffee scale reading 501 grams and with an orange coffee scoop lying beside it on a beige countertop. These City+ beans are much more correspondent with what I usually expect from a light roast coffee. Idk why my brew stalled in the Kalita!

These busted ass Sumatran coffee beans that weren't roasted enough so they're super hard basically ruined my hand grinder lol. Like I got the Ode clear but the hand grinder must have some of the rock hard underdeveloped beans in it because I can't tighten the burrs.

Brewing some Degree Kaapi (not really, I don't have a South Indian style brewer or a Dawan). This stuff is from Camas just down the I-5
A colorful package of coffee with white background, red foreground, and images of silhouette people pouring filter Kaapi from one cup into another to mix it while more Kaapi boils on a stove, another person sits and reads, a megaphone emits sound, with a South Indian stepped architecture style temple in the background and a tree. Text reads Degree coffee kumbakonum whole beans roasted locally in Washington 15 oz net wt

Wow I'm a fucking idiot for trying to grind these raw ass beans that Kern Trembath roasted. I tried to grind the Sumatran beans and they straight up JAMMED MY ODE and I have to figure out how to take the entire thing apart to maybe try to un-jam my expensive grinder.
A picture of poor quality pretty much green coffee beans that were sold to me, in the hopper of a fellow ode coffee grinder.

This Yirgacheffe is maybe the lightest roasted coffee I've ever seen. That might not be intentional. I asked for a "city" roast and maybe I should have asked for "city+" because these beans don't look super consistently roasted. The beans are SO smol and dense, 20 grams barely made any bed space.
