Democrats pick up North Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Alaska and Kansas, and hold all 13 of their own seats.

HOUSE
Democrats 232 / Republicans 203
A net gain of 18 seats. Seventeen Republican incumbents lose and the Republican redraws cost Democrats only a handful.

GOVERNORS
Democrats 21 / Republicans 15
Democrats flip Alaska, lowa, Nevada and Ohio. Republicans flip Kansas.

Stories are coming out regarding the extraordinary heroism and bravery surrounding the Wainwright fire.
Corporal Liam Keane, a 23 yr old combat medic with 3 PPLCI, went into action when the fire overran the troops. He ran into a wall of flames and pulled soldiers out and provided first aid to multiple soldiers. Not once - but ran back into the fire several times, and pulled several to a safe triage - collection point area.
Cpl Keane, despite recieving severe burns during his incredible actions, went back into the fire, knowing full well he would receive more burns, and probably had the notion he would not survive. He fell to his injuries after saving an unknown number of soldiers.
He was severaly burned, is on a ventilator, and has had one major burn operation so far.
Cpl Keane, as part his CAF medical training, worked and trained with Ambulance New Brunswick in the Sussex and Moncton areas. Colleagues who worked with him have said he is a great medic, highly driven, and are not surprised with his bravery and heroic actions.
Time and time again, our Canadian Forces members step up in perilous situations, and show the world what we are made of.

Today, we honour the brave Canadian Armed Forces members involved in the fire-related training incident that occurred at CFB Wainwright on October 17.

We express our deepest condolences to the families, friends, and colleagues of Sergeant Morgan Wong, Private Shaun Farrell, Private Aidan Goulding, and Private Hayden Lykkemark, who lost their lives. We thank them for their service and will never forget their dedication and sacrifice to Canada.

Our thoughts are also with the Canadian Armed Forces members who sustained injuries, and their families, friends, and colleagues who are supporting them during this difficult time.

Finally, we thank the first responders who provided immediate assistance and the health care professionals who continue to provide medical care and support to the injured members and all those affected.

Seriously thinking about getting this 2026 Subaru BRZ ts Series.Yellow. The colour is loud but it is growing on me. It would replace a 2016 Limited silver which replaced a 2013 FR-S Launch edition silver #1045/1500.
