Just when I think we've made it to the Division 1 play-offs in our first season up... ...Championship Manager 00/01 delivers a cruel, cruel twist.

Millwall defeat Manchester City 1-0, while Grimsby score a 90th-minute equaliser against Wolves on the final day of the Division 1 season.

Grimsby's equaliser keeps them in the Division 1 play-off places, as Millwall finish 7th. If Wolves had held on for the win, Millwall would have finished in 6th and qualified for the play-offs at Grimsby's expense.

My guide on running older CM/FM games has had over 5,000 views and was by far my most popular post of the year. I wonder why... My most popular new post was my review of the FIFA Manager 2025 mod. In terms of FM, my post about the 'Instant Result' button is close to 1,000 views.

With the year almost over, here are my Wordpress yearly stats. Fuller FM has had 53.6k views (+11.6k on 2024) and 34.8k visitors (+6.8k on 2024). However, December was by far my worst month of the year - probably because FM26 is rubbish, and also that I haven't written much about FM26 lately.

This worries me. I thought the whole point of "platform agnosticism" was to make FM equally playable with a controller, pad or keyboard/mouse. This just sounds like SI are turning #FM26 into a console game that just happens to also be on PC.
