#Hooptober13 1 Film From 1981 That You Haven't Seen While Corman's Poe flicks are a high-water mark for me, I will absolutely take time to explore the wide variety of other adaptations that are out there. #Hooptober #NowWatching 🎥 The Fall of the House of Usher (1981)

#Hooptober13 3/9 decades - 1910s More mummies w/ my 1st foray into works from Ebony Films & while I do love a good alliterative title, I was reticent considering the history of the studio heavily relying on racial stereotypes for punchlines. #Hooptober #NowWatching 🎥 Mercy, the Mummy Mumbled (1918)

#Hooptober13 2/9 decades - 1950s I NEED some laughs, chuckles, and guffaws on this dreary Monday afternoon. Luckily these knuckleheads deliver that in spades. #Hooptober #NowWatching 🎥 Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy (1955)

I doubt Charles Lamont pulled a William Castle and gave this skeleton a screen credit which, frankly, is sad.

I too would become putty if Marie Windsor held my chin like that

It may be ancient, but at least the mummy comes equipped with a full body prophylactic

#Hooptober13 1 Sam Neill Film I stayed away from this one because of the corny-ass poster but with the recent passing of Sam Neil, it's time to put aside trivial nonsense and see what this vampire society is up to. Probably still obsessed with blood. #Hooptober #NowWatching 🎥 Daybreakers (2009)

I wonder what you call a blood sommelier...

Look at this vampire nerd. Nice lab coat dork

In a perfect world there would be a crossover between this and Scrubs where Ethan Hawke would devour Zach Braff (not sexually)

#Hooptober13 1/9 Decades - 1930s I've never seen this Tod Browning flick in full but because of the fun special effects, a few scenes have passed my way over the years. Hopefully it's like Honey I Shrunk the Kids but with Lionel Barrymore being EVIL. #Hooptober #NowWatching 🎥 The Devil-Doll (1936)

#Hooptober13 1 Meta Horror I love films within a film, but I've avoided this one for the plain & simple fact that I find playing in a snuff sandbox gross. However, if there is gonna be a crew to do it right, it's this one. #Hooptober #NowWatching 🎥 Effects (1979)

#Hooptober13 1 Inanimate Object is Alive Film Thanks to Another '80s Podcast I'm still in the mood for some made-for-TV wackiness. Aside from an excellent title, I don't know much about this one. #Hooptober13 1/2 Bela Lugosi films Welp, because I'm an idiot, I'm watching the entire 265" release of this. Yes, I know the 78" feature is out there and most likely is the wiser decision, but I can't stop the gnawing compulsion in my head 😅 #Hooptober #NowWatching 🎥 The Phantom Creeps (1939)
