Yes, we should assist in some manner. Call it a moral imperative or whatever. The ugly truth is long overdue for the whole world to see, once and for all. The challenge, though, is to put principles before personalities.

As tempting as it is to rub the GOP's noses in this mess of their making, we're going to have to decidely be the mature, rational adults in our actions.

For your consideration, a recently finished weird textile creation: Twisted Oreo (pillow/lap desk platform). The intertwined spirals on top are bargain yarns double-crocheted onto a crocheted open mesh. The bottom, intentionally a smaller gauge than the top, is done in a sturdy, basic Tunisian afghan stitch, which uses the outer edges of the mesh. The stuffing is 100% recycled material, mostly used dryer sheets.
