I can’t find any campus issues. Maybe a poorly timed shutdown for system upgrades at the TLH office or some major failure.

Had to look closely. All products for the Tallahassee WFO have been issued from JAX since Saturday morning. But no operational information messages unless it went out some time ago and I can’t find it.

It might be bigger than that. I just noticed in the forecast discussion for TAE is being issued from JAX. I guess the whole office at the FSU campus is down for some reason.

It has to be some kind of networking issue. A poor design that had a single point of failure, someone cut the wrong cable or a key router died.

I guess it is appropriate that I wake up to a storm induced power failure and then, when I turn on the TV to watch the F1 replay and the cars have their own storm failures. What a weird start to the day.

Omigod, this is the most heartwarming story possible! Backpack (bear 89) is the son of the 2019 winner of Fat Bear Week, Holly (bear 435). In 2007, he injured his foot & a practice of riding on momma's Holly's back had a new meaning: he was mobility-restricted while it healed. So Holly moved him.
