My daughter ( first year at college and voting) tried to order a mail in ballot, but couldn’t get access to a printer / scanner to complete the request form. She voted in person early on Tuesday before heading back to campus after her break.

It got locked at 435 in 1920 as a bone to southern Democrats; continuing to increase the size would have resulted in blacks in the House, you see. Needs to go up to about 700, with national anti-gerrymandering guidelines as part of it.

The HS has started to pick based on number of male roles. Last year was Mean Girls - just 2 primary male roles. The year before, Mamma Mia - they needed girls to take some of the secondary male parts.

Learned this from my daughter being involved in spring musical crew - there's like 5x girls to boys interested in being plays, so they often have to have girls play the boys' parts. It's not 'DEI', it's headcount.
