A small update! We noticed that our PDF zine was missing some images, so we've re-uploaded it 🌸 The intended version is on Bandcamp now (marked as version 1.1). Thank you for reading 🖤

Thank you to everyone who came to our listening party tonight! ✌🏼🖤 “Aphrodisiac” is NOW OUT on Bandcamp. infloresce.com/infloresce-vol-3-aphrodisiac/ When you buy the album, your .zip download comes with a PDF zine with writings about music and sexuality. Pair them for a deeper experience 🎶🌼

Album and zine now on Bandcamp.

Album cover and zine cover, both featuring a classical art-inspired illustration of a knight in silver armor floating in a pond filled with flowers and lilypads. The knight’s hair blends into the dark water, and her face is content with pleasure as two naked nymphs embrace her, while one of the nymphs gently kisses her lips.

the liner notes of the album detail it better, but, roughly speaking...I have a central desire for the Novel and the Limits Of The Self that expresses in many parts of my life, both sexual and non-sexual (however one defines that split)

often - setting aside how it's appeared in individual songs, much of the experimentalism and sensory maximalism of my art is mirrored in my kink activities, both coming from the same inner drive.

it's worth stating with the release of this song that my work is not explicitly intended for an all-ages audience. my sexuality has figured and will continue to figure in my work, as one of the core parts of the self I express through my art, along with other "adult" themes.

I highly recommend reading the liner notes/zine for the album, available through the Bandcamp purchase/download, for context on both my song and everyone else's. (note that this is a sexuality-themed album, and both it and the zine deal with many aspects of it frankly.)

The text is accompanied by a classical art-inspired illustration, of a feminine knight in silver armor, floating in a dark pond with lily pads and white flowers. Her dark hair blends into the water. Her face is content with pleasure as two naked water nymphs hold her arms, and one gently kisses her lips.

I don't remember how I found this album, but it's been a favorite for a long time...the very clean production with the panned percussion left an impression and I felt warm finding out it was done by Wendy Carlos the emotional flow from this one into Izaura is. so much www.youtube.com/watch?v=9F4e...
