Bullshit. If you choose to sit around waiting to recharge every 250 miles: do it. I dont. When im traveling 1000+ miles by car, its not to spend any time sitting at a recharge station when it takes as little as 5 min to gas up. EV a fine commuter car but for now is inadequate for long distance.

UNTIL they get better distance between, and significantly faster charging, and more price competative, there's little incentive for me to switch. I can't afford them as they are and certainly not two cars. Traveling long distances (>1000 miles) my refuling stops are under 15min including restroom.

Used or new? Not everyone can afford a new car. Few good evs are available used. And if you travel long distance, the charging time now available in the US is far too long. Look at the specs on Chinese evs. So much better! But we in the US can't get them, while the rest of the world does.
