www.deviantart.com/cafebreak/ar... Day12. Strong opinions found their way into the images politics, society, the things we quietly agree to live inside. Art should say something about the person who made it. Otherwise it's just decoration. #DigitalArt #Frotzyx
passport engulfed in flames on dark cracked asphalt. The fire burns in full spectrum rainbow colors — red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet — rising dramatically upward like a pride flag set ablaze. Embers glow and scatter. The passport cover is partially visible through the fire, charring at the edges. Deep black background. Studio macro photography, dramatic chiaroscuro lighting, photorealistic, film grain, no CGI look. Everyone wants to earn something from their art. Some find their own lane. Some borrow heavily from whoever is doing well right now. I spent a long time not knowing which lane was mine.
I love fantasy — so I went deep into surrealism. Making the unreal real enough to feel true. Most people liked the images. But I was never quite sure anyone actually understood them.
Strong opinions started finding their way in. Society. Politics. The things we keep quietly agreeing to live inside of. Most people saw a beautiful fantasy image. A few saw something underneath. I started adding text — not really for the viewer, but for myself. The image became deeper when the words were there.
I'm not easy to read as a person. You either like me or you don't. The middle ground is mostly people who haven't met me yet. 😄
But here's what I actually believe about art: it should be more than a pretty picture on a wall. It should say something to the person looking at it — and something about the person who made it. A point of view. A stance. Something real.
Not every piece has to be a manifesto. But if I can't find anything underneath the surface of something I've made, I haven't made art. I've made decoration.
The world needs decoration too. But it's not what gets me up in the morning

✨ Day 11: Four years in, things move faster. Spent 8 months on Civitai dailies, learned more there than any teacher could've taught me. Prompting across generators is its own language Patience helps. 😄 #AIArt #DigitalArt #Frotzyx
Four years later and things move a bit faster. Not just because the software makes more sense now but because somewhere along the way I picked up a year of intensive training in prompting and coding,
But let's go back a bit.
When my first images came out of Stable Diffusion I genuinely wasn't sure this was for me. Because this is a discipline of patience, trial and error, and occasionally walking straight into a wall — and on top of that the generator only speaks English, which adds its own layer of fun when a word you think means one thing turns out to mean several things, some of which are not what you had in mind at all.
Eventually I found Civitai.
we can have very different opinions about that site.enthusiastic
I spent eight months there doing nothing but the daily challenges. And I will say this: that kind of hands-on community learning beats a formal teacher every time. You're sitting with the people who actually built the LoRAs, getting first-hand knowledge straight from the source.
The frustrating part — and this is very real — is the judging. Trying to make something genuinely interesting while the current judges are apparently registered enthusiasts of toilets and Star Wars. We don't need to go back further than January, when the winning aesthetic was cats with wings and sunglasses. Very motivating when you're trying to produce actual art. 😄
But I learned. A lot and more importantly — how to talk to it.
Because here's the thing about prompting across different platforms and models: you cannot just write what you want and expect it to appear. you can write "old woman with a grey cat" and let the generator decide the rest. Easy.

It works though. With a bit of knowledge, it works really well. 😄

🦄 Day 10: One of my first digital pieces from 2021. Started as a drawing, moved to PC, got bored of the concept, changed direction completely — not exactly known for sticking to the same idea unless someone's paying me 😄 Ended up with a line art horse instead. Simpler. #DigitalArt #AIArt #Frotzyx
Day 10 — My Talent: The Creative Journey
This is one of my very first digital pieces, from 2021.
It started as a drawing. Then moved to the PC. Then went through four completely different versions, each one a new attempt at something that felt right — cosmic unicorns, galaxy backgrounds, dramatic lighting, the works.
Here's the thing about me: I am not historically known for sticking to the same concept for very long. If there's no deadline and no one paying me, the idea I started with has about a 50/50 chance of surviving to the end. I get somewhere, decide it's not quite right, and quietly pivot to something completely different. This is a known flaw. I've made peace with it. 😄
The frustration eventually won. I scrapped the entire cosmic unicorn direction and ended up with a simple line art horse instead. Clean lines. Black background. No galaxies, no explosions, no drama.
Much simpler.
I'm pretty sure it still took hours.
But looking at it now — the final version is actually the one I like most. Sometimes the thing you land on after abandoning everything else is the thing that was waiting there all along. 🖤
The image shows all five versions side by side — from the first sketch to the finished line art. A journey through ideas, experiments and adjustments, where each version got a little closer to something that actually worked.

🖤Day 9: A wardrobe turned into an office next to my kids' room. That tiny space is where all of this started. #PhotographyJourney #Frotzyx #DIGITALjournaly
The last few years on the track a few things had quietly changed. A farm bought. Foals born. And then one, then two children.
Life moves at its own pace.
Then Covid came — and rearranged everything again.
Becoming a single mother to two while everything else was already in motion is its own kind of demanding. Things that had felt solid shifted. And somewhere in that period I found myself simply done with the horse world — the photography, the track, the life that had shaped the better part of a decade. I didn't plan to stop. It just happened.
For about two years everything felt like it was on hold.
Then, gradually, something came back. Not the same thing — something new. I found my way back to making images, but this time digitally. Got introduced to AI. Started learning to code. Picked up Adobe and GIMP and started actually understanding what I was doing in them.
And before I'd really noticed it happening, my small pockets of free time had found a purpose again. A little office I'd made out of a wardrobe in my bedroom, next door to my kids.
That's where all of this started. That tiny space is where I am today. 🖤

Day 8: Six years shooting harness racing cold, rain, night races, fitted around a cooking job at sea.. #PhotographyJourney #Frotzyx
The Photographer Who Wasn't Supposed to Be There
Six years. Cold mornings, summer heat, rain, night races — fitted in between a cooking job at sea and horses at home.

I like to say I got good enough that the leading photography firm in Norway walked up to me at Bjerke one day and told me I had to stop stealing their clients. Which I found pretty funny.

The thing was, I wasn't even trying to compete with them directly. I just read the race programme and photographed every single horse running that day. Their photographers worked from a list — the names the journalists wanted, the ones they expected to win. Efficient, predictable, done.

I wanted a shot of every horse. Because I knew that owners want a photo of their horse on the day it actually competed — under their name, in that race, on that track. Not an archive shot from a previous result.

That approach apparently cost them enough clients that someone felt the need to say something.

The photos are still out there somewhere — watermarked, sitting forgotten on Facebook in a corner of the internet. And then life moved on, a new chapter started, and the camera pointed somewhere else for a while.

But those six years happened. And they counted. 📷

The message was straightforward: put your prices up, and stop irritating my photographers.

That last part lit something up. So I did exactly what you'd expect. The first image is the first photo I ever sold officially under LhPhoto, back in 2013. The second is the last one I sold. Good memories. 📷

Day 6: Pulling back the curtain a bit more — sharing some of my older work over the next few days. Both the prestige pieces and the ones that taught me what NOT to do. Today's images are from my very first DSLR, borrowed in 2005 before I bought my own that same year. #PhotographyJourney #Frotzyx
So, continuing on

let's talk about technique for a bit.

I'm going to start pulling out some of the smaller pieces over the next few days — both the wins and the misses.

My "prestige" pieces, the ones I'm actually proud of, sitting right next to the ones that just... didn't work. Both teach you something.

Here's the honest part: my name isn't really attached to any of this. I'm "the blonde girl from the track." "Your friend online." I've never properly connected my work to my actual name or a real profile anywhere.

Not because I was hiding, exactly. More that I've never been great at deciding what I want and just committing to it — across most areas of my life, if I'm being real. Figuring that out is its own project.

But I like what I do. I genuinely do. Not because I think I'm some kind of expert — I'm not, and I don't need to pretend otherwise — but because I keep showing up to do it anyway.

So maybe it's time to actually put a name on it. We'll see. 🖤

The images shown here are from when I got to borrow my very first digital SLR camera back in 2005 — which I ended up buying myself later that same year. Before that, I'd been using a compact Canon — small and handy, but honestly terrible for actually taking photos.

A Nikon D60 with the standard kit lens. I used that camera all the way until I came back from my education in 2011 — back to Norway after three years in the US and three years in Sweden, with a few short trips to other European countries scattered in between, working here and there for a few weeks at a time. and the camera have always been there!

🐴🖤 Day 5 of 5: Someone reached out wanting a 10-year-old photo of their horse restored and put on their trailer — to mark his passing. . Quiet, meaningful work. ✨ #CustomDesign #Frotzyx
Day 5 of 5 — and this one took me back ten years.
Someone reached out who'd heard I could help with this kind of thing. They wanted a photo of their horse — one taken ten years ago — put up on their horse trailer. Not for a competition this time. To mark his passing.
Finding the original photo alone took a while. Ten years is a long time, and tracking it down meant digging through old files before it finally turned up.
Then came the real work. The quality just wasn't there for a print this size — ten-year-old photos weren't shot with today's cameras in mind. I started by cleaning it up: fixing the resolution, sharpening the details, restoring the colours that had faded over time.
Once the base image was solid, I ran it back through AI — this time to update the harness and carriage to match the modern equipment used today. Small details, but they mattered.
The last step was getting everything into the right proportions for the size needed — measured exactly for the trailer.
It wasn't a flashy project. No dramatic colours, no big reveal. Just an old photo, brought carefully back to life, so someone could carry a piece of him with them every time they go out. 🖤🐴
That's the kind of work I never expected to love this much — but I do.
Day 5 of 5. Thank you for following along this week. ✨

Day 4 of 5: A friend called me — "big strawberries, dancing and bouncing, we're the strawberries." Then: "oh, and maybe that superhero family portrait too?" Suddenly I'm fitting 7 (or was it 10?) people into one image. Asked who'd be Wonder Woman... obviously her. 😄 #CustomDesign #Frotzyx
Day 4 of 5 — and this one started with a phone call that made me laugh.
A friend of mine has sent me a few small jobs before, and I genuinely love working on whatever she comes up with — she always brings something fun. This time she called and said: "Big strawberries, dancing and bouncing around — basically we're the strawberries."
I laughed a little. Okay, sure, strawberries it is.
Then she kept going. "Oh, and maybe... that #family portrait we talked about, where everyone gets to be their own superhero?"
And that's when my brain started doing the math. Seven people. Wait — was it ten? Who's getting which power, how do we fit everyone in without it looking chaotic...
I looked at her and said, "So I guess that makes you... Wonder Woman?"
"Oh yeah, obviously," she said. Like it was the easiest decision in the world. 😄
And honestly?

A real shift from the usual #familyphoto — everyone lined up in matching white shirts and blue jeans, hair perfectly stiff, holding that fake smile after a long, tired day of posing.
This one had personality. Everyone got to be exactly who they wanted to be #CustomDesign #cafebreak #frotzyx

3 of 5: A grandmother asked me to make something special. Her granddaughter's first horse was coming and she wanted a nameplate for the box. Wrapped and waiting for the big day. Example image — not the actual design, shared out of respect for privacy. #CustomDesign #Frotzyx
Day 3 of 5 — and this one is my favourite kind of project. A real story.
A grandmother contacted me. Her granddaughter was getting her very first horse — and she wanted to give her something that made it feel real. Official. Hers.
A nameplate for the horse box. The horse's name, date of birth, owner's name and phone number — and a portrait that captured the spirit of her granddaughter's horse.
We talked through every detail. I built it around exactly what she described. Cinematic, ultra-realistic, completely personal. Print-ready and the right size to hang outside the box. 🐴
And now the nameplate is wrapped and waiting — ready for the day the horse finally arrives. That moment when a little girl walks up to her horse box for the first time and sees her name on the wall.
That's what custom design is. Not just a file. A moment that's been planned with love. 🖤
📸 The image shown is an example of how a finished nameplate can look — not the actual design made for this customer, shared out of respect for their privacy.

Day 2 of 5 — and today I want to talk about the most personal kind of project I get asked for.
Someone has a dream image in their head. Maybe it's a landscape they saw once and never forgot. A feeling they can't quite describe but know exactly what it looks like. A place that exists only in their imagination — but they want it on their wall.
That's where I come in. 🖤
We talk. They describe. I ask questions — about mood, color, light, atmosphere. Then I build something from those words and bring it to life as artwork ready to print in any size.
No generic stock images. No "close enough." Something made specifically from what they told me.
The result ends up framed on a wall, printed on canvas, or sometimes turned into something even bigger — a mural, a wrap, a whole room's worth of atmosphere.
If you've ever had an image living in your head that you couldn't find anywhere — that's exactly what this is for. 🎨

📅 DAG 1 — My Talent (revidert)
Hi! 👋 I'm starting something new this week — a little behind-the-scenes series about the custom design work I do.
Most people know me for ready-made AI art prompts, but a big part of what I do is working one-on-one with people who have something specific in mind — and turning it into something real. Not just an idea in their head, but actual artwork they can print and hang on their wall.
Kitchen labels that match someone's home. Sticker sheets for their shop. Motifs for car wraps. And yes — people's dream images, turned into wall art they actually own.
Over the next 5 days I'll walk through real examples of the kinds of projects people bring me — and how the process works from "I have an idea" to "here's your finished design, ready to print."
Day 1 of 5. Let's go! ✨
