Who is "The Woman Who Sleeps Upon The Hill"? In #bigginhill human remains were found under a patio. The story of a pregnant woman who disappeared in 1981, struck a chord. So we wrote this song. Whoever it was left behind people whose lives were never the same again. #folkmusic #altfolk #truecrime

I walk alone on Tunnel Road As sun sets on what came before Running from the night towards my home that lights the stone of Tunnel Road. I walk alone on Tunnel Road The lights they arc and dance around Enveloped by this treaaure trove I cannot leave Tunnel Road

Why is every new folk singer songwriter a bloody "modern day troubadour"? Honestly.

My Biggin Hill nature observations this week. Plenty of dandelion seeds all over the valley, lots of iridescent beetles scuttling along the ground and still moving slow worm tails!

Feels like much is designed to surpress art this morning. The sound of traffic out-speaking my audio book. Workplace cutting off the radio. Constant distraction. Tools designed to help independent musicians just saturate and dissipate talent. Another day...

Hugely enjoyable gig down in Canterbury last night. Lovely attentive, banter-filled and beautiful audience at The Phoenix. Very receptive of our original music so gave them our little cover of Keys of Canterbury as a thank you 🤎🤎

Any play music because they love it? It's more than that for us. It's everything. We're nowhere near "making it". Probably won't be with all the popstars saturating the folk scene. But if it doesn't become everything...that'd be a sad way to end a life.
