New, from me: Kimberly Guilfoyle was caught soliciting money for government favors. Normally we call that a bribe. If she is corrupt, it is only because she has adapted to Trump's corrupt environment, where everything is for sale. 🧵 donmoynihan.substack.com/p/stop-paper...

Sounds simple...the river channels move about - very hard to map - have friends who piled 20m+ for an extn - whilst neighbours old house is built on a gravel ' island' (which hence never flooded) with no foundations and house rock solid - costs not to be underestimated

Might be weight of the thicker slab being unstable/sinking? Often the hard gravel base (if present at all) is many 10s of metres below ground level...as rivers cut huge invisible channels now filled with dilt/mud full of water...

The evolution of the Conservative Party membership since, say, 2010 is an endlessly fascinating study. Labour not vastly different. The issues are generally well known - we need a Royal Comission or some such on our compromised electoral system and its alleged guard rails.

They are - and have been around a long time - East India Co, Rockefeller etc. - but the days of 'anti-trust' appear to be over as they have been 'unleashed' (in case of both US and China) as a quasi-part of the State.

The astronaut hall of fame really brings home to you the continuous decades building of/on investment/IP and so why such a few countries can afford to do this across full sector - amazing
