I haven’t read any Appleseed in ages and really don’t remember much of it so this edition of Shirow Masamune’s 2nd classic (along with Ghost in the Shell) needs to be a must read.

This is a hodgepodge collection featuring the annual (I actually prefer the James Harren story to the DWJ one) a one-shot, Absolute Joker, and an appearance by Absolute Wonder Woman. I don't know if this series has actually lived up to its potential yet.

I'm cautiously optimistic about Tom King and Gabriel Hernádez Walta's Six of Us. The high concept of it sounds good, a murder mystery taking place behind the scenes of a popular sitcom. Going to give this one a shot but it's on a short leash.
