This was my badly damaged neck encroaching on my spinal cord. 12/26/2024 I had an emergency spinal surgery which resulted in my dominant arm unusable, 2nd surgery didn’t fix my arm, and I’m due for my 3rd spinal surgery this month. I will be wearing a neck collar again for 6wks. I post a lot.

I caught the sunrise due to my cats verbally abusing me, until I fed them. I also saw some quail. There were 10 of them, but I scared them away. Also some Fall colors through the branches of this amazing 100yr old #California Oak, behind my house. #Sunrise, #BayArea

This is my neck pre emergency surgery,December 26, 2024. I am still recovering. Yesterday, I saw my new pain management doctor, to get injections of Lidocaine. We are both Gen X and have young adult kids. I have 18,19, and 20yr olds and he has an 18yo. We shared stories, and he started it! He said

That was my neck 10 days ago, severe spinal stenosis. I had emergency surgery, and I am recovering at home, I’m grateful. But I am going to have lose most of my hair. 2 days in the ICU, and not being able to lift my arms, killed it. I have one giant dreadlock.

My nieces were toddlers when they were the flower girls in my wedding. Now one is a school psychologist, and and the other is a plant biologist. And my 17,19, and 20yo, are just starting out. It’s truly a journey. ❤️

This is our senior rescue Layla. Her human died of Covid, so we took her in. Rose is Norman’s litter mate, and she has 7 toes on her front paws. Rose with the toes. And this is our dog Daisy, who is 12yo. Just a timeline cleanser, because everything else is dark and horrible right now. ❤️

This is Norman. He’s beautiful and bossy. My husband’s office manager’s daughter housesat for us, and she became obsessed with him. She works at a candle store and she printed a picture label of Norman, and put it on a candle. And somebody bought it! 😂 One of a kind Norman candle.
