It’s fall break this week! We are going to the lake on Wednesday after I get off work! Ahhhhhhhhh!!!

We are Julie. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.

I’m closing in on about 18 characters recruited on Cai’s path and I don’t know if that’s too many or not. But I feel pretty good about it. A nice spread. Picked some that feel good for story reasons and some that seem to fill a role.

Been playing my Switch 2 with the Zengrip 2 on it for about 10 days now. Just picked up my son’s switch and said “What is this? A Switch for ants?”

When Mozart was my age, he was already dead for three years. So take that Mozart!

Talimun’s was also super fun! And Talimun is still the coolest.

I’m not saying this in a “people have to like this thing that I like or they are wrong way” but more like “the things they are saying suggest maybe they don’t quite see the vision the way I do way”. I feel like there is a difference. Also a 200 hour game is anathema to many weekly podcasters.

Dungeon Crawler Cameron @frodoswaggins.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I have two video game podcasts that I listen to regularly. Both of the talked Fortune’s Weave in recent episodes but neither group seemed to get it. But then one of them recommended Into the Aether and their episode over it and those dudes are Fire Emblem sickos and I’m loving hearing them talk l.

I’m a bit late but I’m going to draw the inktober prompts but I think I’m going to draw all pokemon for the prompts. So get ready for some mediocre pokemon.

Idle Obelisk Miner has started a Halloween event that is honestly giving me life right now. Just ticking the right boxes in my brain.

Dungeon Crawler Cameron @frodoswaggins.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

The story fights in Fortunes Weave are some of the best, most interesting fights we’ve had in Fire Emblem in a while. And I’m still in part 1. The arena battles are cool and epic and point to a history that I feel connected to despite not knowing any of it.

Well we got some rain but not as much as we need. More rolling in over the evening and night. I hope it makes a difference.

Big rainstorm moving in. Radar shows it sort of splitting and moving right around us on either side. I’m so mad.

Book 46 of 2026 My Murder by Katie Williams This book was a trip. A group of women are murdered by a serial killer and brought back to life by a cloning commission. Despite this, quite literal, new lease on life, something just isn’t right for Lou as she returns to her old life. Wild book.

I’m going to be honest, playing hard/classic with Cai and I had a hard time with the Leda fight in the arena. Divine sand made it all possible. Mars saved my life.

Book 45 of 2026 He Who Fights with Monsters 5 The stakes are raised and I’m still having a lot of fun. This arc has been really interesting and not what I was expecting when I started this series. Still having a blast.

Pretty lame to be at work and not in Dagsion.

Recruited Jasmine in Cai’s route. She is an absolute beast. I didn’t really have an axe user yet but I do now.

Dungeon Crawler Cameron @frodoswaggins.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

I was able to make it happen. BFF squad rolling up.

Dungeon Crawler Cameron @frodoswaggins.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

My current squad. It’s a shame Goliath takes such finagling to recruit for Cai. I love their support conversations.

Dungeon Crawler Cameron @frodoswaggins.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Alright, Talimun is so freaking cool. The aesthetic is immaculate.

Hitting level 20 with my main squad. Time to unlock some new classes!

060

Dungeon Crawler Cameron @frodoswaggins.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Got a character ready to recruit only to discover that her negotiation is near impossible on Cai’s route. Or at least a whole lot harder due to being cut off from parts of the map. Oh well.

Got told by one of my principals that the program I am over is doing important things and worth a bit of inconvenience that it causes on her end. That felt extremely validating.

I’ve got about 4-5 characters on the precipice of joining team street urchin. Im looking at characters that seem like fun at this point. Not really sure of any sort of strategy.

Me: wow I’m so early today I’m going order a coffee and pick it up on my way to work and have a great start to the day. 🚂: How about I stop and cut the town in half to keep you from getting anywhere

It’s Friday my friends. Even when things suck, not everything sucks.

0101

Dungeon Crawler Cameron @frodoswaggins.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

I managed to make it through. But dang, going from taking ~10 damage per round to 40-50 per round was not a nice feeling.

030

Dungeon Crawler Cameron @frodoswaggins.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

I pushed pretty far south with Cai on the world map and now I’m in a dungeon that is way too hard but I’m barely scraping by. Getting lots of levels though, so I’m making it work.

050

Dungeon Crawler Cameron @frodoswaggins.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

I said “I will play Fire Emblem for ten minutes.” Best hour of my day.

Cai’s second qualifier wasn’t hard exactly but it was interesting in a fun way. Glad I’m playing on hard mode.

This thing feels so nice in my hands. The Switch 2 is not ergonomic at all.
