Wishing you a magical autumn equinox! 🍂 🎨 Abby Jacobs

Painting depicting an autumnal scene. There are trees with orange, red and yellow foliage, and a cottage with smoke coming out of the chimney.

not as into video games nowadays so in all honesty that direct was fine thinking about it rn i have metroid and xenoblade to look forward to next year and the latter is gonna keep me busy for a hot minute gamer who’s gonna be okay

as someone who wants to be a director and is writing like 10 shorts and 2 features rn just in my spare time seeing ai just fuck everything up, praying that indie filmmaking at least survives and is profitable feel like im on crazy copium rn (plz give me a 70s-90s revitalization in this kinda stuff

cried watching mulholland drive today, the most perfect movie ever made imo, solely made me fall in love with the art form 10/10 sound design and performances, purposeful mind fuckery, ethereal score and atmosphere, the lighting ong, so weird and yet it’s so deeply human, cuts so deep for me

im ngl i think camp miasma IS getting a dec bit better in my head was really mixed on it at first but it does a lot of goofy fun stuff that i love so mayb a rewatch will be in order when it drops on digital ☝️

I think steve is the worse designed, most carrying character in any fighting game ever that completely ignores every aspect of the game state and makes bad players into top players in record time so yes fhantum did deserve to be timed out for 30 minutes and the fact he’s complaining is hilarious

frog @froakiet.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

will consider playing rivals 2 on the side tbh maybe not solo queue tho cuz doing that for every video game makes me wanna kms but yeah

frog @froakiet.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

watched drive for the first time cuz NWR is dropping a new movie next week and didn’t really connect with it much looked and sounded great but I was struggling to care about really anything and the actual style isn’t really in service of much other than the fairytale it alludes to

010

frog @froakiet.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

I think something everyone is ignoring about the odyssey is that this is AN adaptation and not THE adaptation nolan isn’t trying to recreate it one for one lmao

021

frog @froakiet.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

the odyssey blew away ALL my expectations, one of nolans best imo

010
