“Tomorrow, I’ll be handling a R&D guest presentation at Frostmoon & Co. Trading.”
Columbina blinks, spellbound. “... My office.”
Sandrone tilts her head, her smile widens, like when they share a mutual joke, “Yes, your office.”
“Meaning, we will go to the office together tomorrow morning?”

Sometimes I left something while trying to work on cmms. I think this one was from last week or two weeks ago idk.

Korolevskiy Troupe theater never knew a quiet moment. Every hour, sunrise to sundown, the lively activities backstage and onstage, to the front and to the back; everyone moves without knowing to rest, preparing one show after another, and tearing down props to make room for another.

In the deepest rooms, private chambers belonging to the performers, even such hubbub of activity never died down for a second.

“Can you make me a bouquet?”

The florist doesn’t blink, nor does she take out a notepad from her breastpocket to take a note, “Any specific flower that you request of, or whether you want it for a particular occasion?"

“No,” Columbina says quickly. “Surprise me.”

Columbina winces inwardly. She can’t help to think that she’s being a demanding customer, like ‘curators’ who would only see painting for its monetary value, and not its beauty. The brown-haired florist nods once, saying nothing else as she walks to the back counter and already tinkers with flowers lined up there.

With meticulous measure, she gathers three flowers to her hand: a small blue flower, a long-stalked white flower, and another white flower with longer petals. Her movement is fast and agile as she wraps the three flowers as a mini bouquet in purple paper wrapping and silver ribbon, along with a few extra stalks of decorative leafy stems. She doesn’t forget to pin the shop’s name card—black and gold ink on silver-white emboss, Silvermoon Marionette—on the center.

The florist hands the bouquet to Columbina, the same patronizing smile on her lips, “Here you go, a custom order of a bouquet. Narcissus, forget-me-not, and wood anemone.”

How does it feel to kill a person?—it is a recurring thought running in Kanna Magnusson’s mind.

Humans are delicate creatures, and you can feel their fragility further when you’re able to tap on a power that you’re not supposed to have.

It’s not the first time someone describes Kanna as a murderer. An unfeeling person who only knows to aim for the kill with her power. The ‘murderer’ identity itself has been becoming a part of her brain that died along with her remorse.

Perhaps not completely, since she still fears for herself, for what she can control, and for what she cannot.
